Holiday Age Gap Romance in Vegas. This book hooked me right from the start. I've read several other books by this author previously and this one is very different then the one's I've read previously in a good way.
The updated cover seriously hot! The baddass heroine two thumbs up! The hot older protective bodyguard count me in!
I know not to judge a book by its cover but even the description is a bit misleading. It's promoted as a Holiday age gap romance with an accidental pregnancy thrown in the mix for good measure. However, a great deal of the story especially the later half is focused heavily on The Cartel issues which is fine if that's the kind of story you want to read about. I was just a little surprised and for me that part didn't hold my interest well which is why I can't say I loved it but I definately liked the story overall. It was really funny seeing the grumpy brother find love later in the story too.
A good read and would recommend this book to anyone looking for an action romance.

Willow has been very controlled her whole life by her father. He wants her to be completely dependent on him. She manages to escape him and the arranged marriage he has planed and ends up in Vegas where she meets Zane. He's an older single dad, retired military, who works in private security. The attraction between the two is instant and they have so much chemistry.
This was so so good, there's nothing bad I can say about this book! The steam is perfection. The suspense and action was so well written. Usually I glaze over action parts in romance novels but the author did a great job keeping those scenes interesting. I liked the dynamic with Zane and his brothers. Seriously, I could not put this book down!
Definitely read this book if you like age gaps, surprise pregnancy, mafia/cartel romances.

It sure takes quite an effort to get this girl permanently rescued from her father's greedy custody and it turns into a big family affair with multiple cartels involved. From his actions, it was hard to believe Zane was so much older than Willow but their instant attraction made that little fact irrelevant. This was a very entertaining story with surprises around every corner.

An incredible story of two people who are very different that found a way to connect. Willow was the daughter of the head of a drug cartel, and had been kept completely away from everyone. When he forced her to marry a colleague, she ran away, accidentally stumbling upon Zane and his brothers. Things happened and Zane dropped her at the airport, but her father's guys caught her. Zane went on their first private security job only to find Willow was who they were supposed to protect. But she was really being held prisoner. They never expected to fall in love. Great read!.

Vegas Daddy, one of the many books in the Silver Fox Daddies series, was about 21-year-old Willow Allegra, the daughter of Arturo Allegra, a cartel lieutenant, and 39-year-old Zane Phillips, a retired Navy SEAL and co-owner of Phillips Security. on the day she was to be forced by her father to marry Esteban Becerra, the head of the Becerra Cartel her father worked for, Willow was desperate to find an escape. When she did, she ran as far and as fast as she could, ending up in Vegas. As she was checking into a hotel, she thought she was being followed, so she planned an escape route. In the process, she encountered Zane, who ended up assisting her. Zane and his two brothers, Heath and Knox, were in Vegas, along with Heath's fiancee, for Heath and Darlene's Vegas wedding. While at the hotel's casino, Zane noticed a young woman who seemed to be in trouble, so he decided to surveil her, during which he found two men following her to the elevators, he got on with them and took them out after she made her escape. The next day, he and his family were eating at a restaurant and he found her there. His family invited her to join them, then his soon-to-be sister-in-law invited her to the wedding. Zane and Willow ended up having sex and spent a week together. The night after the wedding, everyone but Knox got a bit drunk, and in a drunken tipsy his new sister-in-law suggested that Zane and Willow should get married. The next morning, news of a way for Willow to escape came through, and Zane escorted her to the airport, but neither one of them remembered anything about having gotten married. Unfortunately, it was only a short matter of time before her father caught up with her and forced her back. After being held a virtual prisoner for a month, her forced fiance introduced her to her new bodyguards...the three Phillips brothers, including Zane. When Becerra told Zane and his brothers they were going to be guarding Willow for the next few months while he was out of the country. Not long later, Willow's father also left, supposedly for a few days. But from that point on, things went haywire, and...well, I'm not going to spoil it. If you want to know the rest, you'll just have to read it. Suffice it to say, it was a real hair-raising story. The angst and drama levels were in the stratosphere in this story, and there was little to no humor to alleviate the tension. While the MMC was fully developed and mature, the author tried to portray the FMC the same, and yet she also tried to portray her as stunted. Yet she actually turned out to be a badass chick who, although she stated she wanted out of the cartel life, did everything she could to become a member and get revenge. But she was also supposed to be a woman who had been homeschooled her entire life, never let out of the house unless under constant guard, and the father never let her read a book he didn't monitor, and never let her watch a movie. How then, did this woman become a badass fighter...who didn't know how to fight? The author had this girl so mixed up, that the reader didn't understand her character...at all. There was so much fluff that the main plot and storyline were almost drowned out. It felt more like a novel that would be written by Tom Clancy...only not as good. For a suspenseful romance, it was decent, but it could have easily ended fifteen chapters sooner and still reached the goal the author wanted. The grammatical errors were indefensible. There were too many sentences that weren't finished, too many punctuation mistakes, and plenty of others that were too egregious to name. With all that said, I couldn't give it more than a three-star rating.
A story that starts with a run away bride turns into a war between two cartels. Willow had always been kept hidden at home by her father, Arturo Allegra a member of the Becerra Cartel. He had promised her hand in marriage to Esteban, the head of the Becerra Cartel, but the day of the wedding Willow managed to escape making it to Las Vegas from Los Angeles. She thought, she had made a clear get away only to discover there were men looking for upon her arrival. Accidentally, she drew the attention of an ex-navy SEAL, Zane that was in town for his brother, Heath's wedding, along with their brother, Knox. They were all three ex-SEALs, and they had just opened their own security agency in LA landing their first client which they were worried about, since the husband was of questionable nature. Zane knew Willow needed protection, but she refused to give him any information including her last name. They had a deep connection so they spent the week of Christmas together while he had a passport made for her. They went to Heath's wedding where they got plastered at dinner, and Heath talked them into getting married. The next day neither one remembered getting married so Willow insist it would be safer for all involved to go their separate ways. She tries to board a flight for England, but her father had her intercepted at security taking her back to LA where she was held once again prisoner at home under guard. The wedding was back on with Esteban, and the new bodyguards were coming, because he was being called out of town on business in Mexico. When the new bodyguards came in everyone had a surprise, and they had to do great acting to save all their lives. When Zane, Heath, and Knox were all introduced to Willow at the house for the first time, and they had to act like they had never met before. Knox was immediately ready to cut their losses and get out of there or leave the job in a few days. I am not sure how he ever made it in the military and came out sane. He was much to black and white in thinking, there was no gray area for him. I never knew government worked that way. I worked with gray area a lot. As a result, he leaves the team returning to the office leaving only Zane and Heath to protect and eventually rescue Willow from her situation. Shortly after that everything seems to fall apart at the seams. Everyone ends up on the run for their lives as Willow's father learned the brothers were in Las Vegas with Willow so he goes on the hunt for them and their families where it gets them all drawn into the war between the Becerra's and the Marrones'. A super suspense filled romance packed with lots of great action that will keep you on the edge of your chair.

21-yr-old Willow Allegro, a beautiful virgin with electric blue eyes set off by her full lips and cute button nose, has always known that her life was not normal. Yes, she lived on a large estate, and yes, her father Arturo, had riches enough to require guards 24/7. But no young woman of her age, living in the modern world of Southern California, had an arranged marriage with a stranger to serve her father’s business needs—unless she had suddenly become the innocent heroine in one of the many romance novels she spent hours reading.
And, it was not normal for her future husband, Esteban Beccerra, a contemporary and business associate of her father, to be a powerful and intimidating head of a Mexican cartel. And, it couldn’t be normal, for her, as the only child a deceased mother to never have met any of her mother’s family who still resided in Mexico. So, not willing to be the manipulated heroine of her own life story, Willow, leaves an unconscious guard on the floor, and with the assistance of a sympathetic house maid, escapes on the morning of her intended wedding to begin her flight on foot through LA—away from a forced marriage to her own freedom
Finally, after successfully fleeing from her elegant prison, and walking to the nearest bus station—the quickest and cheapest means of transportation out of town—she sets out for Las Vegas, Nevada, hoping to disappear in the hustle and bustle of the gambling mecca. But, what she hadn’t intended was to stumble into another wedding—and to soon become connected to 3 brothers, Zane, Heath and Knox Phillips—all former SEALS—who have come to Vegas to celebrate and participate in the festivities of middle brother, Heath, and his fiancée’s wedding in a Vegas chapel. And, when Willow’s father or her intended groom’s henchmen hunt her down, eldest brother, 40-year-old Zane feels compelled by his training and his heart to assist Willow in any way possible—even if his actions commit himself and his brothers to go to war against a Mexican cartel.
KC Crowne always provides an entertaining and engaging plotline filled with challenges and dangers that only an experienced daddy can solve.
I received the ARC for this older-man, younger-woman romance through Booksprout and purchased my copy for my Kindle.
This book was amazing and I’ve never read a book by the author that I didn’t love or like and this one is no different. Zane Phillips is a retired Navy seal at nearly 40yrs old and with his brothers Heath and Knox who are also navy seals and are in Las Vegas for Heath’s wedding to Tessa and on there way out of there hotel heading to the chapel they see a female being manhandled by some dangerous looking men and Zane’s protective instinct kicks in and so he moves to save the female and with him distracting them she runs away leaving him wondering who she was and what trouble she is in. Putting it aside they all head to the chapel and the wedding goes off without hitch until the mysterious female walks in looking for him and she asks Zane if he will be her bodyguard and he agrees to protect her day and night. But what neither of them realizes how intense there attraction is to each other is and there burning desires take over and they spend an amazing night together but the next day her father comes for her with his men. Willow Allegro is a 21yr old virgin who is to be forced into marriage by her father Arturo to enhance his fortune with this business deal to Esteban Beccerra the leader of the Mexican Cartel who she refuses to marry and runs away to Las Vegas thinking she can hide from her fathers men but they soon find her in a hotel and try to take her back but a gorgeous man saves her from them and she makes a break for it and runs again. Now she is looking for him and finds him in the chapel and asks him to be her bodyguard and she is excited to have a sexy man protecting her and she cannot wait to see where these feelings and desires will lead them and after an awesome night together she hope it can lead to more but her father comes for her and takes her home. It’s a month later and she finds out she is pregnant and her wedding is on again and so she doesn’t run again her father gets bodyguards for her and when she si forced to meets the leader she is shocked to find that it’s the man she has wanted since her return home Zane and who is the father of her baby. How does it all turn out and what happens when her father finds out his virgin daughter is pregnant to the bodyguard he just hired. Love it.

A chance meeting leads to an unexpected love match that will take both Zane and Willow to the heights of passion, into dangerous life threatening situations and then into schemes for revenge and justice. Willow has been sheltered her whole life, a prisoner really, kept in limbo to be used as a pawn in order to gain the best advantage for her criminal father. An arranged marriage and at least one person on her side finally sends Willow in flight away from her father’s and fiancé’s control. Fortunately for her, she meets Zane on day one of her freedom. Zane is nearly twenty years older, divorced and father of a daughter just a bit younger than Willow. He is also a highly-skilled former SEAL and part of a security company he owns along with his brothers. He recognizes that Willow is frightened and in trouble right away. He convinces her to let him help her escape her troubles. While they set a plan in motion, their explosive chemistry takes over and a whole lot of very steamy encounters take place. Zane really has no idea what volcanic situation he has stepped into when he got involved with the beautiful woman with haunting eyes. The rest of their story is volatile, twisty and action-packed. Feisty, courageous Willow is forced to be become a tigress waiting for her chance of vengeance. Zane is her highly-motivated, very protective and lethal knight in shining armour who will almost anything to keep her safe. I devoured this book and can’t wait to read more books written by this author.

Twenty-one-year-old innocent Willow Allegra is being forced by her lowlife father Arturo Allegra to marry slimy Esteban Becerra head of the Becerra Cartel. She has been a captive in her home, in her room, for years. Willow knows she has one chance to escape so she runs…to Vegas…where she meets Zane Philips. Former Navy SEAL Zane is in town partying with his brothers Heath and Knox. Heath is getting married by "Elvis" in the Little Vegas Chapel. Zane knows something is not right with Willow and when he follows her he is able to stop her kidnapping. Zane becomes her protector and much more. Though he’s twenty years older he can’t keep his hands off her. The Philips Brothers, all three former SEALS, are starting Philips Security. It seems that jobs are scarce when your former work was a warrior. What a coincidence!!! Their first job is for Arturo Allegra… “protecting”… his just re-captured runaway daughter Willow. There are a lot of sleazy workings going on between Esteban and Arturo but before they can finalize their deal another cartel pops up and they are very anxious to bring Willow into their fold. The Philips brothers are deep in this mess but after lots of scary bloody conflicts, there is a happy ending. Good characters, LOTS of action, and strong women. I received a free advanced copy of this story from Booksprout and am leaving my honest review. Linda
Willow (mfc, 21, innocent) Zane (mmc,39, divorced) Teresa (exwife of mmc) Anna (daughter mmc,21) Heath (brother mmc) Knox (brother mmc)
Willow has been sold into a Cartel marriage by her father, escaping just minutes before the ceremony. Zane comes across her in a hotel while she is fighting to escape the goons sent after her. He saves her but she runs again, only to run into him the next day where she ends up hiring him for protection. Knox isn't happy about it. She stays long enough to see Heath get married, Zane staying by her side night and day. When he drops her off at the airport for her to disappear, they think she's safe. She isn't, she's dragged back to her family. Then Zane and his brothers are hired to protect her by her father and the cartel she was sold to. Problem is, neither Zane nor Willow remember they got married their last night in Vegas, and there will be permanent consequences. When Willow's father finds out, things go from dangerous to deadly. Her only choice is to seek out a rival cartel, and pray Zane will be able to keep them safe.
Couple of typos, great story flow. Has a different feel from her other books, but still well written. Just needs a re-edit. And that plot twist ...phew. Will have you on the edge of your seat ready to throw down.
I can’t believe I’m gonna say this, but I actually think this might be my favorite so far in this series. A whole new view of what the cartel and the mob are. It’s so scary yet at the same time when you’re introduced to these people, some of them seem so normal yet some are so evil. Willow lived with all things evil, kept a prisoner, her entire life. Questionable about the death of her mother, and now she is forced to marry. Not if she has anything to say about it. A quick escape, and she’s in Vegas. Zane never thought he would meet the woman of his dreams, especially one so much younger than him. She fascinated him with her simple enjoyment of everything. He does everything he can to help her escape. He knows he has to do it to keep her safe. Little did you know she would be caught again. That is until him and his brothers are hired to guard her. They are not happy working for the mob, but their job is to just protect her. This book is just amazing, family, drama, family, lost, and family found. And, of course, the characters you love to hate, and the characters you’re rooting for throughout the book. Such a great happily ever after for more than one brother.
I really loved this book. It's a fabulous romance with a little bit of everything. Zane is an older ex navy seal and Willow is younger and the daughter of a cartel boss. She's been sheltered her whole life. Their paths cross in Vegas after Willow escapes an arranged marriage, and it's the start of a wild story of cartel families fighting and a blossoming romance between Willow and Zane. It's instant attraction and near insta love. The thing I loved the most about the book was hands down the characters. They are so real and their interactions are so believable. Zane is a really good guy whose always protective and respectful and caring of Willow. Willow is always appreciative of Zane's behavior and for someone so young and sheltered she acts pretty mature throughout the book. Only towards the end does she make an immature decision but soon straightens out. You get lots of fighting action, steamy scenes and family side characters both of the good and evil variety along with their love story. You definitely want to read this one!
Is it possible to feel a connection with someone you just see - an instantaneous attraction? This story is filled with full length drama. Zane is in Vegas for his brother’s wedding on Christmas Day. He is taking a breather from the group and wandering around the hotel lobby. That is when he sees her trying to make a reservation. He is watching her, observing things about her that make him curious, intrigued by her behavior. He thinks she might need help. Zane thinks Willow is running, but from what he doesn’t know - but he hopes to find out. He wants to protect her. He feels something for her. It brings a twinkle to his heart. The characters have sizzling chemistry, an electricity, a magnetic pull - so good! The story is filled with suspense, danger, confinement, deceit with twists and turns around every corner. There is drama! Who will win and who will lose? Is love the answer? This is a fast paced, exciting adventure. Really dynamite read!.

I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it.

While I enjoyed the overall story, there were inconsistencies that irritated me throughout the story. For instance, at one point it mentions that she cuts her hair into “a cute pixie cut” but then a few chapters later he is looking at how it “curls around her shoulders”. A pixie cut is going to take a long time to grow out to her shoulders. Another example is when they get to the little bungalow and he “carried her up the stairs to her new room”, but the next chapter she says that there aren’t any stairs in this house when she leaves the bed to go stretch her legs. I wish that the author would have gone back to just double check that her writing matched up with the previous chapters. All in all, the story line was good and I loved the characters, but just little things like too many blatant inconsistencies take me out of the story and keep me from enjoying it fully.
I enjoyed this read by KC Crowne and read in one sitting. And who doesn’t like an age gap romance. We see a strong willed Willow living a live her father has built for her. To be married off to a horrible man to help her father pay off debts. Willows entire life was being ordered around with no free will of her own. On the day of her doomed wedding she escapes and takes the bus to the cheapest stop, which is Vegas. Three brothers are there getting ready celebrate the marriage of the middle brother. Zane the oldest of the Phillips brothers notices a girl who looks destitute and takes it upon himself to help. Bring in the a drunken night, shenanigans and the mafia. Life will never be the same for Willow and Zane.

This was so good! Willow has had a tough life. In the sense that she hasn't had one. Her father has kept her locked away. Some don't even know she exists. She escaped her father and her fiance. Oh, she's supposed to marry her father's boss. Head of a cartel. But she gets away and ends up on Vegas. There she meets Zane. And oh, Zane. He is absolutely perfect. He is instantly attracted to her. He protects her from the very beginning. They have azong chemistry and you can just tell that they are soul mates. They go through a lot together. I don't want to give too much away about what they go through and where all they go. But Zane is always thinking of her safety. He is just seriously amazing. 🔥🔥 I loved the ending they got too and the rest of the family.

This is the story of Willow and Zane. Willow has had a sheltered, constrained upbringing. On the day of her forced marriage to Esteban, a mafia boss, to pay off her father's debts she makes a run for it. Zane and his other two brothers are in Vegas for his brother's wedding. The three are starting a security firm after leaving the Navy SEALS and Zane offers to protect her. He is calm, capable, fit and hot.
Their adventure to rescue Willow from her former life is frantic and full on. The heat between the two just increases as they work towards bringing Esteban down.
What a gripping, fast paced story and the connection between the two is scorching.
Ms Crowne writes amazing romantic thrillers!.

Their Miracles Over Christmas - OMG! The title is truly misleading, because I really thought it was going to be a sweet and sexy romance story, but boy was I wrong, as it was so much more. I feel like I have just come off a rollercoaster ride and my legs are still wobbly. The story started slow, but by the time I got to chapter three, it was like the story had gone from zero to one hundred and it stayed at that level, until I finished reading it.
There is no chance you will want to take a break once you start reading this book, so my suggestion is that you carve out six free hours and immerse yourself in this steamy, action-packed romance, that will have you totally engrossed and on the edge of your seat. This book deserves a high recommendation.

Love this book it kept me hooked all the way to the end. Willow is being forced by her father to marry someone in another cartel to settle his debts. None of these guys are very nice and treat the women like crap. Willow escapes on her wedding day and is able to make it to Vegas. She meets Zane when she is actually running away from the guys that are after her. Zane protects her and doesn't know why he feels drawn to her. Time passes so she thinks she is in the clear to leave the country until she caught again. This time he has a bodyguard who happens to be Zane. Will he be able to get her away from her father and others before it's too late? By getting her away she finds out some information about her mother's side 0f the family that's starts a cartel war. Will they be able to get away from all the cartel to save their family? A great book that you don't want to miss
Willow was kept secluded in her room for many years. Since her mother was killed she was hidden. Some people didn't even know she existed. Her father ran a cartel and was very mean to her. She was being forced to marry the leader of another cartel. She wanted no part of this wedding and escaped. She went to Vegas where she met Zane who spent a lot of tours in Afghanistan along with his two brothers. They have a hot and heavy few days together before they get married in a totally drunken state. Then her father finds her and takes her back to her room and the threat of the wedding she was avoiding. Her father has hired special guards for her who turned out to be Zane and his brothers. Now can they get her out of there. So much action in this story. It keeps you on the edge of your seat. Also very hot!!! Fabulous author!!!
I LOVED the start of this book but was completely indifferent to the end, which is why is averaged out to a three. The suspense in the beginning was fantastic, but it felt like once Zane and Willow got to a particular location I won't discuss because that would be a spoiler, it just fizzled out from there. Sure, there was action, but it was definitely at the loss of the relationship, which was a real shame. You also had the typical Vegas tropes in there. I had expected them and liked how this author kept them fresh with the runaway bride/cartel angle, but then that was all but lost. It became a romantic suspense now, and I was not mentally prepared for that. lol
Don't get me wrong. There were some good parts. You may really like I, and I would see why. I'm looking at it from the pacing, characterization, character versus character conflict, and use of genre and tropes.
This contemporary romance is page-turning with realistic characters and world-building that is exceptional. Their journey is enthralling with a mature, explicit romance, Vegas, baby, single dad, mafia, age-gap older man, a bad boy billionaire, marriage to a domineering single daddy, ruthless father, passion, desire, lust, deadly cartel leader, a fairytale that ended because of the mafia, an ex-military man, action, and adventure, and more. I recommend reading this book by an extraordinary author who knows how to captivate her reader's hearts and attention with Vegas daddy and a Christmas holiday age-gap Vegas romance.

I love stories that have twist of danger and the turn of fate's hand as it will always keep you on the edge of you seat waiting to see what happens next.
Willow wanting to get away from the plans her father has for her, finds herself in Vegas and a night with Zane. But her father's reach is long and keeps her until she fulfills his needs - an arranged married to increase his ties.
Zane had been working on keeping Willow safe, but when the security company is hired to protect her, his plan took a twist.
An amazing story that I did not want to put down. I found myself lost with each turn of the page.

Willow and Zane. Willow insane? Zane? Somehow Willow left a prearranged marriage and runoff to Vegas. So this is started a loyalty confrontation between two big families. Zane ex-military father is supposed to keep her protected more or less kind of sort of yes. But she’s so sheltered one thing leads to another. And he is overwhelmed with news that she delivers him. Action packed in the bedroom and out. A lot of bantering. A lot of trying to find herself as a person. And he already knows what he’s about. this was a good story. Very full length realistic story. Very detailed story. It has fast passes and it’s slower ones all comes down to the last chapter. Very very good read!.

Zane Phillips is in Vegas for his brother Heath’s Christmas wedding. When he notices a woman checking into the hotel looking nervous and terrified he has to help. Willow has escaped from her fathers compound and the forced marriage she was expected to show up for. Once Zane sees Willow he knows he will protect her from whatever she’s running from. Once Willow realizes she can trust Zane and his brothers, she enjoys the first taste of freedom she’s ever had and completely falls for Zane. This book is full of twists, surprises, danger, cartel wars, newly discovered secrets that change everything not to mention plenty of heat.
