Karen’s strange new life starts when she wakes up in a strange place, with a strange man she has never met, and wearing clothes she has never seen. The image she sees in the mirror reflects an older version of herself. She went to sleep at seventeen, but awoke to be twenty-two and her family fearing she has amnesia.

But this couldn’t be farther from the truth and it doesn’t take Karen long to realize she has the ability to shift through time. Not only was she seventeen in a twenty-two year old body, five years in the past, an older Karen is having the same dilemma, but in a seventeen year olds body.

You’ll feel what it’s like as this experience only becomes one of many and the shifts through time become unpredictable, frightening and new to Karen. And danger lurks just around the corner as time behaves badly putting Karen and others around her in mortal danger.

Wow! I really enjoyed this book! I love characters that are teenagers or just out of high school. And that is what Karen is. Basically she is a shifter. She keeps going back in time and she communicates with her older and younger self. She is trying to warn her older self from something, and she tries the WHOLE book to get that message out.
It really is a delightful read. I want to read more from this author. I am wondering is anyone else has read this book?

I don't want to ruin the book for anyone. Here is a description I found on amazon.com.

I enjoyed the book. Nice little romance, and a few good chuckles!! I got a little confused with all of the time shifting at the end, but I was reading the last few chapters late at night. It makes me wonder, what would you tell yourself if you could give your younger self advice? What would you do differently?

First of all it was an incredible book. But most importantly I know Melanie personally. Mother of two, this lady is awesome, sweet and amazing. Read her book and buy her book and get the word out. She'll be writing a few more books so watch out for her name!!!!!
