Stealing back my start-up idea was bold. Falling for a billionaire? Totally reckless.
My ex-boss stole my million-dollar concept—and then fired me. So I go back, grab what’s mine, and make an escape. With security guards on my heels, I dive headfirst into Walker Drummond’s limo. Literally.
Billionaire. Single father. The kind of man whose attention feels dangerous in all the right ways. When I confess, he doesn’t throw me out. Instead he makes me an offer: be his date, and he’ll consider my pitch.
But beneath the charm and cufflinks is a guarded heart and a firm no-strings policy. And me? I don’t do flings. Too bad chemistry doesn’t care.
If I’m not careful, the man who doesn’t believe in forever will not only steal my heart…but keep it.

4.5 stars - Oh, how I love Walker Drummond and Eden Carpenter together. And the way Eden just clicks with Alex... it's spectacular. 💙❤️ I love the twists and how this plays out. Each makes some missteps, and I like how they ultimately handle them.
Once I started listening, I did not want to stop. I really love the flow and the dynamics between all of the characters. I also like how the antagonists get theirs. ⚖️
I also like the side story of Suki and Lou, as well as the budding friendships with Tom, August, and others. There's also Vanessa, who shows some vulnerability. It was a really good moment.
I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrators are Aaron Shedlock and Jo Raylan. I really like both, but I do wish it was in duet narration. Oh, well. 🤷♀️
This was the first book in the series I listened to, and now I definitely want to go check out the 3 previous books because I loved this one!
Eden is a smart and sassy woman recently fired from her job after calling her boss out on stealing a business proposal she had presented. Walker is a very successful businessman and father to an adorable son. The two first meet when Eden jumps into his limo, trying to escape security after she stole her business proposal back from her former company. Walker is intrigued by her and wants to hear about this business proposal she had, so he invited her to join him to a party he was on his way to. There is a definite attraction between the two, but Walker is looking for a Fling, and Eden is not the flinging type. It’s really too bad since they can’t seem to stop thinking about one another…
Oh, the feels! There is so much I loved about this book, but there are two things I really wanted to highlight. Walker is not the typical billionaire playboy that has just never wanted to settle down. He was married to a woman he loved who broke his heart and really shattered his trust, and he doesn’t want to open his heart for a repeat. Thar made him a more likable character that you could understand and relate to. Second is Eden she is so genuine throughout this story. As attracted to Walker as she was she was also smart and recognized a casual Fling was something her heart may not survive but beyond that she was so passionate about starting a business and didn’t want anyone having an impression that her relationship with Walker was the reason behind any success she might have. She was just such a strong character that I loved. The chemistry between these two was just off the charts they just had a feel of inevitability that screamed happily ever after.
Overall, this was such a well-balanced, solid romance with so many feels. The characters were layered and enjoyable. The story flowed seamlessly, and it held my attention and interest. Highly recommend did not disappoint in the least!
The story was narrated by Aaron Shedlock and Jo Raylan, who did a phenomenal job bringing these characters to life. There was more than one occasion listening to this book where I just found myself frozen and hanging on to every word! They seamlessly brought all the various emotions and the characters' personalities to the forefront, the arrogance, passion, intensity, heartache, desire, they just nailed it and owned these characters. Seriously impressive performances by both!
4th in the series but it stands completely alone. And though characters from the previous stories appear or are mentioned, you don’t have to have read any of the other books.
Eden and Walker meet in a most unusual manner. While trying to flee an awkward situation with her former employer, Eden bursts into a random car stuck in traffic. From the floor of the vehicle, she meets Walker and so begins a complex relationship of friendship, business, more with the commitment phobic and once burned single billionaire.
Eden makes a lot of new friends through Walker and it opens a lot of doors for her new business as well as for “social justice” after how her former employer treated her in the end. There are also a few obstacles between Eden & Walker finding happiness including trust and secrets and balancing the two.
I listened to the audiobook for this one narrated by Aaron Shedlock and Jo Raylan. Aaron is so great as Walker. I loved listening to his smooth, self confident base narration. The conflicted nature was so well balanced as Walker fights between 2 sides of himself as he both wants Eden and only Eden but also doesn’t want to open himself up to be hurt like he was with his ex. Aaron was amazing in all the various facets of Walker’s path from the back of the limo to happily ever after. Jo is a new to me narrator and the warmth in her voice was so delightful to listen to. She brought a great range of emotions to Eden’s journey. Angry and frustrated at times, sad and let down in others, hopeful and joyous, it was so fun to listen to her.
I requested and was provided with an advanced copy of the audiobook. These are my honest opinions.
Over all I enjoyed this story. While it is the fourth one in the series, it can definitely be read as a standalone. I really loved Aaron Shedlock's performance as Walker. Sadly I didn't love Jo Raylan's performance of Eden. It's not that she is a bad narrator, I just don't think her voice was right for this role.
I did enjoy the way that these two met. Eden was running from her previous employer as she boldly took back what was hers and something that she believed that her previous employer was attempting to steal from her. She believed that her boss had done this in the past and was going to prove it.
Walker was intrigued by Eden and the feelings she was bringing out in him. He wanted to help her with her business but he also wanted more. At first, she didn't want anything to do with his proposition except for the business aspect. Eventually, Walker realized that he would be willing to give a relationship another chance and wanted it all with Eden.
Then some things are revealed and Eden doesn't know who she could trust. I completely understood why Eden reacted the way she did and I was glad that she just didn't fall at Walker's feet. He had to prove to her that what he felt was real.
I honestly wished the conflict that arose within the story had played a bigger part. There was a little time during the middle portion of the story that it seemed to lag a bit. But overall, I really enjoyed the story and wouldn't mind reading the others in this series.
I couldn’t put this book down! I was so excited to finally get Walker’s story! This book showed the characters struggles with their insecurities, jealousy and keeping business and pleasure separate. Eden’s chaotic situation with her previous employer becomes the reason she accidentally meets Walker, and it was hilarious, and perfectly unique! Walker’s past makes it hard for him to trust, and he avoids attachments & feelings at all cost.
You can count on characters from past books to make an appearance, which I love! I recommend this book to those that love a billionaire single dad, a feisty curvy fmc, and a hard fought for love!
After calling out her boss for stealing her business proposal, Eden is a sassy woman who is incredibly smart. She finds herself running from her previous place of employment, as a reluctant thief after stealing her proposal back, when she jumps into the limo of the very successful businessman Walker Drummond. He finds her intriguing and wants nothing more than to hear her business proposal. Their romance begins with him inviting her to a party that he was on the way to. There’s only one problem… Walker only wants a fling and Eden isn’t the type for just a fling. If only they could stop thinking about each other.
S.M. West wrote some pretty amazing characters. When you think about the billionaire trope, the first thing that usually comes to mind is that this character is a total playboy. That is completely inaccurate when it comes to Walker Drummond. This billionaire is far from the typical playboy… he is damaged after a marriage to a woman that broke his heart and completely shattered his trust. The last thing he wants is open his heart again just to have it shattered again. Eden is one strong and passionate heroine willing to fight tooth and nail to for what she wants. She is not willing to let others think that her success is only because of her attraction and relationship with Walker. Because of this she is one smart cookie to recognize that her heart wouldn’t survive a simple fling with the business mogul and have it affect her success.
Aaron Shedlock and Jo Raylan do an amazing job bringing these two characters to life. I am still fairly new to Jo Raylan, but she was spot on with Eden’s strength and captured every emotion, every aspect of her personality, and her determination to bring her passion to fruition. Aaron Shedlock was the definition of swoony in this billionaire romance. Walker can be seen a standoffish at times, calm and collected, but ferocious at the same time and Shedlock played all those parts of Walker beautifully. Together these two narrators breathed so much life into these characters and I need more of these two together.
This story just wasn’t for me. Despite excellent narrator performances, I did not believe the connection between these two characters, both of which had personalities that were just too all over the map, while at the same time feeling undercooked to appeal. I was much more compelled by the secondary characters and their experiences (like Vanessa and Suki) than the MCs. Eden was supposedly this strong, competent person, but her reaction to Walker undercut that too much for me. And his insistence on white knighting, while sill calling her capable, make it feel as though he didn’t genuinely respect her capability. So, the connection between the two never clicked for me because of the inconsistencies in characterization. Perhaps also the all powerful billionaire trope is just generally wearing thin on me these days and there wasn’t enough that stood out about this story to overcome the shortcomings of the trope itself.
The best part of my StB experience was the narration. Aaron Sherlock and Jo Raylan are both ridiculously talented. Definitely a case where what would have been a lackluster readings experience, was still a positive listening experience.
Overall, though this fourth installment of the 6ix Loves series has a strong supporting cast of characters and a great audio production, the MCs just aren’t a compelling enough embodiment of a consistently less appealing trope.
I received an ALC copy of the audiobook via Home Cooked Books. All opinions are my own
Stealing the Billionaire by S.M. West is a single dad billionaire romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Aaron Shedlock and Jo Raylan. This is the fourth book in the 6ix Loves series and can be read as a standalone.
I absolutely love Suzanne’s books because they always leave me with a smile. I loved the relationship that bloomed between Eden and Walker. Their relationship was bit of a rollercoaster, but you couldn’t help but root for them.
Aaron and Jo did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you like single dad romances, billionaire romances, or contemporary romances.
Thanks to Home Cooked Books for the ALC and chance to offer my candid review.
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (0-5) 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 🎧 Steam: 🔥🔥🔥☄️ (0-5) it’s private, but it’s hot & detailed
What I’m Starry-Eyed Over: 🤩 Amazing standalone, even though it’s book 4 in the series. 🤩 Billionaire, single dad romance. 🤩 Meet-cute, kind of ugly, with a little suspense. 🤩 The MCs Walker Drummond and Eden Carpenter—I love them as business people, how they are with Walker’s son Alex, and how hot they are together. 🤩 Oh my gosh, the instant attraction and tension between these two. 🤩 When Eden stands her ground that she doesn’t do flings. Actually, just how honest they both are. 🤩 Hip-hop class jealousy from Walker, even though he doesn’t want a relationship. The combination of lust and longing in this story is top-notch. 🤩 These two husky-voiced narrators do such a fabulous job getting all the feels across. 🤩 The combination of the descriptive words and hot voices is better than I’ve experienced in an audiobook in a while. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🎧
What I’m Wishing/Dizzy About: 💫 When Eden lets Suki get on the plane alone—I’m still not sure how I feel about that decision.
(Audio Review) After calling out her boss for stealing her business idea and then being fired, Eden Carpenter finds herself fleeing the scene after stealing back her business plan. With security chasing her, she has no choice but to dive into an unknown limo where she meets billionaire Walker Drummond who owns limo.
The story immediately gripped me with Eden and Walker’s meet cue. They have an instant connection and Walker agrees to help Eden find investors for her business. Throughout this process, we see Eden and Walker get to know each other and get closer. Eden is of course initially hesitant to mix business with pleasure, and Walker has some past bad relationship experiences having previously been married and is not sure about starting something with Eden. However, they both eventually let their guard down and we get to see them create something beautiful and special. I also loved how we got to see how they both fit into each other’s lives.
I always enjoy S.M. West’s writing and this book was no exception.
Narrated by Jo Raylan and Aaron Shedlock, both did excellently in bring the characters and the story to life. Raylan’s portrayal of Eden was on point with her strength and determination. Meanwhile, Shedlock captured Walker’s cool, collected personality mixed in with the vulnerability that resulted from his past. I thoroughly enjoyed both of their narration.
Stealing the Billionaire Audiobook review By S. M. West Narrated by: Aaron Shedlock and Jo Raylan
Love a good billionaire romance! S. M. West brings us another great story! Aaron Shedlock and Jo Raylan are great as always! I have not read the 3 books in the series before this one so yes, this one can absolutely be read as a standalone. But I am anxious to go back and start at the beginning! Reluctant to love again, Walker learns that it’s okay to be vulnerable. The chemistry between Walker and Eden is through the roof! Lots of laughs, lots of heat, lots of emotion. S. M. West brings us another stay up all night listen.
Eden and Walker have such a unique meet cute and eventually struggle to keep their professional and personal life separate. It’s clear they both have feelings for each other, but Eden wants to keep it all separate…which results in a lot of back and forth between the two.
Walker is a billionaire who is a single dad and a workaholic, Eden was recently fired from her job and wanting to start a new start up company.
Aaron Shedlock and Jo Raylan narrated this story and did so well. I’ve always loved Aaron and this was my first listen with Jo as narrator! They both really nailed the characters!!
I really enjoyed listening to this book and especially love the fact that it takes place in Canada 🇨🇦

Walker and Eden are from completely different worlds but when she literally falls at his feet, in his limo, it turns both of their worlds upside down.
It's been a while since I've read an S.M. West book and I was excited to dive into another one, especially since her books are set near where I live.
Unfortunately, I struggled with Walker and Eden's story. Their connection felt too business-like than romantic, there was a lack of communication, and the flow of the story was a little too slow for me to stay interested.
I am looking forward to trying another one of S.M. West's books again in the future.
Get ready for... billionaire, opposites attract, workplace, slow burn, age gap, fish out of water POV... dual first-person
*A copy was kindly provided to Canadian Girl Book Blog*
Walker had his heart broken, so now he won't even contemplate a serious relationship. Eden doesn't do casual and feels out of place in Walker's world anyway. Business brings them together, and business may tear them apart. There are just a few writers who relax me in the first paragraph so that I know I am in for a great time. SM West is one. From the very beginning, the reader is invested (pun) in Eden and Walker. She is strong and intelligent, he is wonderful. He will allow her the latitude to live her life, yet he is a protective and considerate gentleman. She is loyal, honest and real, if occasionally unsure of herself. With 'guest appearances' from characters in other of West's books, and a storyline which encompasses a variety of issues, this is outstanding. Read it!
An Attention & Heart Stealer! Great Story, Characters & Narration🎧
Stealing the Billionaire 6ix Loves Book 4 By: S.M West Narrated by: Aaron Shedlock, Jo Raylan
S.M. West pens another amazing novel, and the story grabbed my attention from the very start and captivated it straight to the end. Eden Carpenter is trying to get back what is rightfully hers, except she has to find a way in to her old job to retrieve it, not an easy task after being fired. But she gets her foot in the door, finds the opportunity to grab what she came for and almost got out scot free, except security saw what she did and ran after her. Walker Drummond was in his car and he saw the woman in the red dress running and being chased, he lost sight of her, but the next thing he knows she is ducking into his car. Intrigued by her, he hears her out and without getting into precise details, he believes her and gets her out of there. He feels an instant attraction to her, and he asks her to accompany him to an event that night as a return favor. Walker is anti-relationship, he has some serious trust issues after catching his now ex-wife cheating, but there is something about Eden that makes him want to change his stance on relationships. The chemistry between them is undeniable, but Eden is willing to deny herself because she wants someone who can commit to a relationship or give more of themselves than he is offering and when he comes around, it is absolutely explosive between them. Eden is on a mission for justice, she knows that she is not the only one her former boss stole from. Complicating things is that her former boss is friends and occasional business partners with Walker. I loved how everything played out in this book, the complexity of the characters and the layers of the story is fantastic, so is the writing and plotting. There is never a dull moment in the story and it has the perfect balance of drama, angst, some twists, mystery, heartfelt emotions and a steamy romance. S.M. West, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Aaron Sherlock and Jo Raylan did an amazing job bringing these characters to life and did so with a complete understanding of who they were portraying and were believable in every role they played. Raylan’s Eden was spot on, grasping every side of her personality, from her strength and determination to her passion. Shedlock nailed it as the swoon worthy Walker, he too grasped all sides of his personality, from his standoffish side and cool, calm demeanor to his fierce side. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the character’s emotions and have you feel every single one. These versatile voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another amazing listen.
Stealing The Billionaire is book four in the Six Loves series and is the billionaire romance of Walker Drummond and Eden Carpenter. Eden is a fiercely independent, highly intelligent woman who is wronged by her boss when she tries to steal her business idea then fires her. Eden steals back her business plan and flees the office with security hot on her heels and needing to get off the street she dives into a limo and comes face to face with eligible bachelor, billionaire Walker Drummond who is captivated by the flame haired beauty with fire in her eyes. Walker agrees to help Eden find investors for her business and despite sparks flying between the pair they decide to keep their relationship professional until the gravitational pull becomes too strong forcing the pair to decide, either make a go of it or walk away. Walker Drummond is a renowned billionaire and is known for his ruthless business style and being a playboy bachelor. However, this couldn’t be further from the truth. Walker is damaged after his marriage broke down leaving him heartbroken and shattered his trust in women. He can’t imagine opening his heart up again for fear of it being shattered all over again. This changes when a flame haired beauty gate-crashes his limo to escape the security guards chasing her down. Walker hears the woman out and agrees to help her. But he discovers the boss who tried to screw Eden over is his friend and potential business partner. As Walker has developed feelings for Eden, he decides to dig further before confessing all. Will they be able to survive secrets and lies? Will Walker realise that not all women are like his ex-wife before he loses Eden forever? Aaron Shedlock and Jo Raylan bring S.M. West’s to life in the most amazing way possible. Aaron brought all the swoony billionaire vibes in this performance. He showed his cool, calm, and collected CEO side to perfection and highlighted his vulnerability which resulted in closed off, standoffish behaviour amazingly. Jo Raylan brought out Eden’s strength, determination, and tenacity perfectly. Jo captured every aspect of her personality and poured all of herself into Eden’s emotions. I am a huge S.M. West fan, and this book did not disappoint. I loved the meet cute between Walker and Eden and how they started out friends and moved on to fling status before taking a chance at a relationship. This was the perfect addition to a brilliant series.
Holy wow, does this crafty storyteller ever know how to grab a reader's attention! Our heroine, Eden Carpenter is a smart gal, but stealing back her business proposal from her now former boss wasn’t brilliant. But her diving into a billionaire’s limo while stuck in traffic to escape the security guard chasing her down the street? Pretty freaking brilliant.
It's a terrific meet-cute, and Walker Drummond is quickly intrigued by Eden. They soon have a business relationship that Walker wants to turn into more. The only problem is he's a fun-for-now kind of guy and Eden is a forever kind of girl. But somehow, Eden has Walker rethinking his stance and imagining what more with her might look like.
There is so much I love about this one! Okay, yes, I love everything about it, but let me tell you about some things that are extra. The conflict between his affluent world and her ordinary existence is so realistic and relatable. I love her friends and how they support each other, and there are a couple other characters who add additional depth and emotion that played my heartstrings masterfully.
Although I know nothing about the billionaire world, I could relate to Eden so much as she tried to navigate Walker's parties and events. It was authentic and emotional and provided a good amount of comic relief. The perfect mix of light-hearted fun and emotional angst, Walker and Eden are my new favorite billionaire read. I have no doubt they’ll work their way into your heart just as the did mine, so don’t miss their phenomenal story!
I was sent an ALC of this book, and I am voluntarily leaving this honest review.
I really enjoyed this book, being the first I have read by SM West, and definitely won't be my last. Although this is part of the 6ix Loves series it can be read as a standalone.
It's about Eden, who has an amazing business idea, which her boss tries to steal, and is further convinced that she has committed IP fraud with others too!
I loved how Eden and Walker met, which was original and fun. Nothing like landing at the lap of a billionaire unintentionally and a delicious one at that!
For me, however, the book lacked tension, angst and had avoidable miscommunication, without which there wasn't much of a story.
I liked Eden, who was supposed to be self-assured, but then in the next breath was full of insecurities. I get being a fish out of water. Anyone in a similar position would be, but it was less believable when it came to her business acumen and how she responded to Walker, who made it very plain what he felt about her.
All the side characters were great too, including his son, Alexander, who was a delight, the villains, her bestie and her mum. I would, however, have liked to learn more about Ben and hopefully he'll be found to be the fraud that he is.
If you are looking for a fun read with a delicious billionaire which low angst, this could be for you.
So far as #dualnarration was concerned #aaronshedlock was as excellent as ever, but I felt that #jorylan was going to burst into tears throughout most of the book and didn't have much range, which was a pity.
Stealing the Billionaire by S.M. West 6ix Loves #4
Splendidly satisfying happy-making way to spend the day ~ LOVED it!
What I liked: * Eden: intelligent, independent, strong, resourceful, good friend, creative, open, communicates her feelings, rather taken with Walker * Walker: brilliant, wealthy, divorced, father, strong, good friend, protective, has trust issues, grows through the story, rather taken with Eden * Alex: Walker’s son and a delightful addition to the story * The meet cute was terrific and played well into the title of the book * That Eden wasn’t a pushover or willing to take less than she deserved both in her professional and personal life * The supporting characters: Tom, August, Suki, Lou and some that perhaps were in the previous books of the series * That this was a standalone story and well worth reading – didn’t feel lost but wouldn’t mind reading the previous books in the future * The plot, pacing, setting, and writing * That I was invested in the story, felt I knew the characters, and was rooting for a happy outcome while also wanting the baddies to be exposed and dealt with * All of it really except…
What I didn’t like: * Who and what I was meant not to like * Thinking about how much damage thieves do to those they steal from
Did I like this book? Yes Would I read more in this series/ by this author? Definitely
Thank you to the author for the ARC – This is my honest review.
I love when a book starts with a fun meet cute. “Stealing the Billionaire” is a fun, sweet, steamy and emotional story that was fun at the beginning and continued on to a great story that I couldn’t put it down.
Eden is out of a job after finding out her current employer is less than honest with how she gets her “ideas”. On her way out, she steals her own work and literally stumbles into a limo with Walker Drummond sitting inside. Walker is a successful businessman who knows how to separate business with pleasure but there is something about Eden that captures his attention.
Eden and Walker were so much fun to listen to. I loved how they met and the chemistry that was there right from the beginning. They had great banter and were a great match for each other. They were opposites in some things but also similar in other things. Eden was a normal girl who wanted to succeed in business and felt out of place in Walker’s world. Walker is guarded at first because of his failed marriage but he realizes that he can have a career and a life outside of it. These two are so great at communicating and I loved that there was never any crazy miscommunication which can kill a romance quickly.
Aaron Shedlock and Jo Raylan narrated this story and were so great. They did an amazing job bringing the passion that Eden and Walker had for each other and for their businesses.
🎧Audio Review🎧 Narrated by Jo Raylan and Aaron Shedlock ⭐️4 This is book 4 of the 6ix Loves series by S. M. West. And this is the first book from this series I’ve read. And I will Definitely be reading the first 3.
Eden has been let go from her job and in a mad dash to run after taking her intellectual property back she jumps into Walkers Drummond’s limo to escape being pursued. Billionaire Walker, is intrigued and wants to know her more. I loved listening to this couple get to know each other. Eden knows who she is and doesn’t make excuses if she doesn’t understand his world. Walker needs to reevaluate his rules of keeping women at a distance as he starts falling for her. I loved their chemistry.
The supporting cast of characters, Eden’s group of friends and Walkers family adds additional plot lines that round this story out.
I did have some minor issues with the ending, not giving anything away, I feel Walker needed to grovel a bit more, as I think he should have trusted her more. Hence my 4 star for this.
Aaron’s sexy voice adds intrigue to the reserved Walker. Jo has a vulnerable quality to her voice that makes Eden relatable, as she struggles to fit into Walker’s world. Yet at times that vulnerability, a slight quiver in her voice, led me to see Eden as a bit too delicate, and that doesn’t match exactly what I see Eden as. That could just be me though. But she voices the male parts really well with a smoky quality.
𝑺𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒓𝒆 is a wonderful, captivating read! Or, rather, captivating listen as I adored the audiobook for this story! I have not listened to or read the first books in this series but I wasn’t confused so this is easily a standalone.
Eden and Walker were beautifully chiseled. I loved following them and getting to know them and seeing their chemistry spark into something more! It was such a wild, wonderful ride!
𝙰𝚊𝚛𝚘𝚗 𝚂𝚑𝚎𝚍𝚕𝚘𝚌𝚔 and 𝙹𝚘 𝚁𝚊𝚢𝚕𝚊𝚗 were absolutely magnificent at bringing Walker & Eden to life for me. Every laugh, every emotion, every bit of sparks that flew truly came to life for me with their voices crooning in my ear. From the very beginning, I was lost in the power that is great narration, hanging on every single word that these two spoke, bringing this story to life like it was a movie on the big screen!
I can definitely recommend this audiobook with flying colors! From intense emotion, to a perfectly picked narrating duo, to characters that not only steal each others hearts but the hearts of the reader/listener, this story will captivate you, twist your soul, and drop you in a place that will leave you thinking about it long after and make you crave more! Can’t wait to listen to the rest in this amazing series!

*I received a complimentary copy of this audiobook from the Author/Publisher and was under no obligation to post a review, positive or negative.*
S.M. West has a knack for zany opening scenes. Stealing the Billionaire is no exception. When Eden Carpenter dives into Walker Drummond’s path, the broody billionaire’s walls begin to crack. After Eden’s business plan is stolen, she takes matters into her own hands. Little did she know that one reluctant act would lead her to a life she never dreamed of. Fake relationship is a favorite trope of mine, especially when the MCs are deeply averse to romance. As the layers of Walker are revealed, his swoon-worthy status skyrockets. Eden is a kindhearted, caring, witty young entrepreneur who holds her own among billionaires and colleagues alike. I love S.M. West’s quirky, real-bodied, relatable heroines. A sizzling romance, witty banter, and corporate espionage make Stealing the Billionaire another hit in SM Wests’s 6ix Loves series.
Aaron Shedlock is awesome as the gruff, bachelor billionaire, Walker. Aaron’s characterizations are spot-on; from the ranch to the board room, Aaron’s performances ensnare readers. Jo Raylan is a newer-to-me narrator and I enjoyed her performance of Eden. Her portrayal of Walker matched Aaron’s tone and character choices really well. I enjoyed this narration pairing; Jo & Aaron’s pacing, cadence, and endearing styles brought Eden and Walker’s love story to life in a lovely way.
Holy Moly ... the electricity between Walker and Eden is off the charts. I loved Eden ... she knew what she wanted in life and wasn't afraid to go after it. And even though I loved Walker ... he really made me mad at times. One minute he wanted to be with Eden and the next he was pulling away from her ... make up your mind already! This is a great addition to the series and I can't wait for the next book.
When Eden gets fired from her job and her boss tries to steel her new business idea, she flees from the office with her idea that she stoled back from her employer. Security is chasing her, so she ducks into a limo and comes face to face with Walker Drummund. Walker doesn't know what to think when a beautiful redhead with fire in her eyes jumps into his limo. All he knows is that he wants to find out if she would have that same fire in the bedroom. Walker agrees to help Eden find investors for her business, but he doesn't want to mix business with pleasure ... and he definitely wants pleasure with her.
This is book 4 in S.M. West's 6ix Loves series and can be read / listened to as a standalone. Our main characters are Walker and Eden. Eden is on the run and dashes into the car of non-other than business mogul and billionaire Walker. Both taken aback by the situation Walkers chivalries side emerges and keeps Eden safe and takes her home while learning a bit of her story. Captivated by her he does what he's not known to do and pursues somewhat of a relationship with her. Business and personal lines get blurred along the way as communication is not their strongest quality. I love that while Walker's character is seen as the strong one, he has to make himself vulnerable to find his HEA and while Eden may question where she fits in Walker's world, I love her overall self-confidence and worth. Dual narration is perfection and brings these characters to life and makes the storyline all the easier to follow. Loved this audio romance and can't wait for more!

Eden and Walker that have the most interesting meet cute for a couple in a book that I have read in a while. They come from two different worlds to different echelons of society but that’s not gonna stop anything. She is smart sassy fierce and will tell him like it is and go toe to toe with him which is not something he’s necessarily used to and that intrigues him from the get-go. There is this attraction from the beginning that’s simmering under the edge and they try to deny it and keep it strictly business. Watching them wear each other down and see their relationship develop was cool to see. He’s got past scars that he is trying to work through, that is a hindrance to for serious relationships. She helps to break down his walls which is a great thing to see. And it’s wonderful to see what kind of a father he is, his little boy is absolutely adorable and a scene steeler. They have a couple curveballs they get there on their way but they figure it out and come through the other side stronger than they were before I’m glad they got their happily ever after.
A typical SM West book, up half the night to finish it. Walker and Eden, a couple whose chemistry is off the charts, and who met in a very unconventional way (she jumped into his limo – got to read it to find out why). Walker has been hurt in the past by a cheating wife and has closed himself off from the possibility of anyone else but his son getting close to his heart. Eden got the message but refused to be fling and put Walker on notice. He started to get the message and decided to give her a shot. Darn good thing the guy finally came to his senses, (ok it takes so of us a bit of time we are slow learners, but we do learn). Through the ups and downs of the relationship Walker learns to trust her as his son does and see the opportunity of a lifetime in Eden. This is not to say she does not have some of her own self esteem issues and has to work through them also. As usual this is a great read. Is one of those you keep saying ok just one more page/chapter and then I’ll stop. Yep, never did till the end. Get the book it's worth the lost sleep.
Stealing the Billionaire is book four in the 6ix Loves Series, but is the first book in the series I have read. I plan to go back and listen to the rest of them because I loved it! There are so many billionaire books out there, so I am delighted when I am hooked. Eden is new to the business world and has had a very bad day when she takes a big chance by diving into a car stuck in traffic to escape and ends up face to face with Walker, the super sexy billionaire single dad in the right place at the right time for the right woman. A unique and most excellent meet cute ensues. Not only is there an instant attraction between the two, but Walker is intrigued by her business sense, sees an opportunity, and endeavors to find out more. Though he is dead set on remaining single, he finds Eden irresistible. Steaminess ensues and they are very hot together! No spoilers, but I really loved how their relationship develops and how he is with his son.
Narration by Aaron Shedlock and Jo Raylan is fantastic! Both performers are favorites and I have yet to listen to anything I didn’t love by either of them. Aaron really brings out Walker’s personality, his reluctance, his business sense, and his passion. Jo exudes the strength, focus, and tenaciousness Eden must have to survive in the male-dominated business world - especially when a strong woman she admired becomes the reason she is fleeing in traffic. I couldn’t put this down and listened straight through. Loved it and look forward to listen to more books in the series.
Stealing the Billionaire is book #4 in the 6ix Loves series, Walker and Eden's story. Eden gets fired from her job and is literally chased down the street when she tries to collect her things, including the business proposal she developed on her own time. When she jumps into a limo to escape security, Walker Drummond is the passenger. Walker is a single dad, billionaire, I-only-do-casual CEO. He is intrigued by Eden and things progress from there. This story is all about trust, trusting those who want to help and opening yourself up despite the consequences. This was not just a love story because the intrigue was riveting. This can be read as a standalone, but you won't want to miss the other books!
I had the audiobook for this one. Aaron Shedlock and Jo Raylan were fantastic. Aaron Shedlock voiced the perfect IDGAF billionaire, but brought the personality to his son and his feelings for Eden. *chef's kiss* Jo Raylan brought Eden to life giving us the scared, unsecure Eden to the strong and passionate one. Loved. It. All. 5 glorious stars!
