This book, while a bit outdated is an amazing start for anyone with a child with Autism who is looking to homeschool or already is. The outdated parts are the use of the word Aspergers and the links to websites that are no longer around. However you can easily overlook the first and do your own research for the second.
The advice is gold. I learned a lot about how homeschooling can be beneficial for Autism specifically and some tips for making it work for us. Also there is advice for dealing with behaviour issues. We are shown how to deduce what is making our child act that way and what we can do about it for the future.
The back of the book shares some interviews with homeschool parents and homeschooled kids.
Felt like the book was biased a bit, but did list reasons why homeschooling could be hard on some families (money, time, effort). Homeschooling could have less social interaction- depends on how much the parent has the child go on field trips and social playdates with friends.
