What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, right? Unfortunately this isn't the case for recently married Chloe. She believes she's just left behind the biggest mistake she's ever made in her life in Sin City-her sexy as sin husband Tristan, who although a walking Adonis, is nuttier than her Grandma Violet's fruitcake. He seriously thinks he's a flesh-and-blood vampire and says she'll turn into one as well! However, after returning home, Chloe discovers that Tristan might not have been the loony she first assumed him to be. Stranger still, while she must come to terms with the extraordinary new changes in her life, she must also fend off an irresistible husband, who is hell-bent on winning her back. But happily-ever-after isn't so easy for these two when Chloe learns that Tristan hasn't exactly played the game of love fairly. "Reader Advisory: This book contains one scene of multiple-partner sexual interaction."

Koko Brown

Koko Brown is the pseudonym for a quintessential erotic romance junkie who once read over 200 Zebra Club novels the summer before her senior year in high school.

Koko’s writing career began at the tender age of nine when she self-published and distributed a newspaper to her fellow classmates. Unfortunately, her grade school school principal didn’t appreciate the competition and put her out of business after one best-selling issue.

Undaunted, Koko continued to write and read everything she could get her hands on. She honed her writing skills as a staff writer on her college’s newspaper, writing obituaries for the local newspaper, and teaching English to high school students.

One day while daydreaming in bed, Koko came up with the idea for her first erotic manuscript. Taking a hiatus from teaching, she had enough time on her hands to flesh out the story in two short weeks. A week later, she cleaned it up, then sent it to Ellora’s Cave during the Christmas holiday. By January she heard from one of their editors and by March (and many revisions) she signed a contract for her vampire novel Charmed.

Calling the east coast of Florida home, this multipublished author of interracial erotic romance loves to travel, shop in thrift stores, ride motorcycles, renovate houses, and volunteering.

Spoiler Ahead This was a pretty good short quick read. This is my second book that I have read by this author and I really like her writing style. Chloe goes on a vacation with her friend Shirley to Las Vegas where she meets the rich and sexy Tristan who is the owner of the hotel. After waking up and finding out that they are married. Tristan is not only sexy he is also a vampire leader of his coven and when he tells her Chloe thinks that he is crazy. What she doesn't know is that she iis already beginning to change. This was a good hot read. Tristan's brother Simon wants to take over he his tired of living in Tristan's shadow so along with Tristan's ex they kidnap Chloe. The sex scene's in this book were hot. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading more books by Ms. Brown.

The star rating given reflects my opinion within ‘the official goodreads rating system’. (Notice the two important words... OPINION and RATING)

1 star: Didn’t Like it
2 stars: It’s Okay
3 stars: Liked it
4 stars: Really Liked it
5 stars: It Was Amazing

I don’t really give a rat-fuck that there are some who think I ‘owe’ an explanation for my opinion. Nope, nada, and not sorry about it.

Sometimes I may add notes to explain what my opinions are based on, and sometimes I don’t. I do this for me, on my books, in my library and I don’t ‘owe’ any special snowflakes a thing. Fuck off if you don’t like it and stop reading my shit.

Particularly given the ‘modifications’ to reader’s personal content going on (and outright censorship), unless particularly motivated I will not comment in detail.

It would help if GR was forthcoming in the new ‘appropriate’ and would make a site-wide announcement delineating the new focus from a reader-centric site to one that is now for authors and selling.

The story overall wasn't terrible and yeah they had sex every other minute and blah blah vampires Chloe didn't exactly seem as strong willed as she was Tristan had nothing to like about him really it was all just oh he's good looking. That's it they never got to know each other it was just sex turn you into a vampire sex and entitled sneaky hateful spoiled brat brother and jealous ex-girlfriend. What REALLY annoyed me though was the freak use of the one "for" in places were it shouldn't be because as far as I know people don't talk like that but I could be wrong. My only other complaint is the use of terms such as "lifeblood" "love play" and "channel". Otherwise it was a perfectly ok story. It's the first thing I've read from the author and I do plan to read another of her books even though I'm certain all those same words that annoyed me will more than likely be used. I hate to not like things but it really was like a bad porn. But again I say I didn't dislike it, just wished there was something more to it. Especially considering what happened to Chloe with the whol Yasmin/Simon thing, he didn't even apologize for it they just had sex!

This was a quick and fun read about a very successful Vampire who meets his mate but has to put in the effort to get her to trust him. I would have given this 4 stars but the dirty talk was a deterrent for me. It isn't that I don't like dirty talk, it is just that this dirty talk felt odd and sort of forced.
