August Gamble is a fast-paced murder mystery in a small town from a Christian's perspective. The characters are interesting and well developed. The story is written well with twists and turns and you never know 'what happened' until the very end.
Hall brings out the suffereing that abused women and those involved in drugs endure. In this case a mountie from a small town must solve a mysterious death.
