Todo lo que una maestra nunca dirá

Rate this book

A pleasant little thing, I guess, that helps build a comedy/gift book audience in the young, as it consists of one-page yucks that illustrate school life and subvert the usual thing a teacher would say. In other words, this one encourages mess, drawing on the furniture, screeching at the neighbouring class and more. If you don't think this is a comedy/gift book, there is a Christmas-themed sister edition, too. And like much in the market, it's fine but disposable stuff – there's not a thing wrong with it, but is it an essential purchase? No teacher would ever declare it was.

Very pointless and phony. I thought there would be some kind of heartfelt moment or message for kids, but there's nothing.

I chose to read this book after receiving a free e-copy from the publisher. All opinions in this review are my own and completely unbiased.

So many children’s books I read these days have a lesson included in them. This book doesn’t have that but I still liked it because it’s a book that children will think is hilarious! From encouraging students to chew gum to telling them to skip school tomorrow, they’ll definitely get a kick out of it. There are also a lot of illustrations that are cute. This is a book that will encourage kids to read and laugh.

This is a great book to get for any young child, especially children who don’t like reading. It’s short, cute and will tickle their funny bone.

This book was received as an ARC from Schiffer Kids - Schiffer Publishing in exchange for an honest review. Opinions and thoughts expressed in this review are completely my own.

I am not a teacher but from a librarian's perspective, I could not stop laughing at this book. Both of my parents are teachers and when I mentioned this book to them they had to read it for themselves and they could not stop laughing either. The illustrations, language use, sentence structure and complete execution were just brilliantly done that children will be laughing and never wanting to stop reading this book. This book is perfect for a Storytime and library visit.

We will consider adding this title to our Picture Book collection at our library. That is why we give this book 5 stars.

This is a funny book that can be used when going over classroom procedures, and it gives examples of things the students should do as well as examples of things teachers will never say, like "Were not doing math today because its hard"
