Cancer is so limited.... It cannot cripple life, it cannot shatter hope, it cannot corrode faith, it cannot ... Filled with stories of courage for anyone dealing with cancer, this book combines uplifting Scriptures from the NIV, inspirational quotes, and encouraging stories from both male and female cancer survivors.

This book is not for everyone. It's for anyone touched by cancer that needs to know that all the thoughts, emotions, questions, and concerns are legit AND that you can bring them back to the cross. If you need a friend in the journey, these authors will drag you back to Christ.
I picked this book up because I currently have a friend battling cancer. It is very inspirational and comforting as a Christian -- a much-needed book, in my opinion.
I didn't want to read this when I had cancer. I didn't want to read anything from anybody when I had cancer. Now that it's all over, I'm ready to read my "cancer books" and this one was such a blessing to read. I actually would have benefitted from reading it when I was feeling pitiful. I think that this is a good book to read if you're experiencing any type of difficult season in your life. There is definitely hope and comfort found within the pages of this book. My book has the same title by the same author, but the subtitle of my book is Stories of Hope and Encouragement. The cover of my book is different too, a vase of leafy flowers on a window sill is on the cover of the book I have.
What Cancer Cannot Do, is an excellent shorter read. It is good for those in remission and those who have metastasized. It is a series of good stories from people's real lives. It gives perspective because everyone has a different view of their cancer. It doesn't sugarcoat cancer the way some books do. We need to trust God and learn to lean on his strength. Our circumstances don't need to invade our souls, and our illness cannot steal our faith in God. Through all the suffering, grief and trials we need to know that our faith is greater than gold because that perishes. Only faith in Him can keep the soul safe from harm and worry.
This is the book that inspired the quilt. Can be read as a daily devotional and if you read it through once, go back and re-read it as a daily devotional to remind yourself over and over that cancer is so limited in what it can really do!
