La vie continue pour cette famille pas comme les autres ! L'aînée Pandora révise ses examens, l'adolescente Ondine se prépare pour un rendez-vous, la jeune Roxane joue aux jeux vidéo, Bébérenice réclame à manger... et Dad aimerait bien pouvoir être enfin un peu tranquille. Car ce comédien au chômage, père aimant mais éternel adolescent, élève seul ses quatre filles, et ce n'est pas de tout repos !Après une publication remarquée dans Le journal de Spirou et un premier tome unanimement plébiscité, Nob (auteur de Mamette et ancien rédacteur en chef du magazine Tchô !) continue sur sa lancée avec ses chroniques légères, qui renouvellent la bande dessinée familiale avec modernité et tendresse. L'occasion d'en apprendre davantage sur la jeunesse des filles et sur leurs mères, mais surtout de s'attacher plus encore à cette galerie de personnages divers et actuels, de tous âges et de tous caractères, servis par un univers graphique doux et tendre.

I'm not crying you're crying! *sniff*
This one was so much more bittersweet than the previous one. The feels are so heavy, I think I might just take a day off reading.
This book made me like really want to be a dad someday and have a daughter of my own and have all the very moments that every parent goes through. It sure is a cruel and violent world out there,but I'd love my girl to grow to be strong and firm to face them and even outwit them. Right from when she's one chubby kid to the day I bid her farewell, I can only imagine how many emotions I can go through!
I put myself in this father's shoes and I realised life is so hard and one has to make a lot of sacrifices but you can be a bit optimistic and you can make it through. And everyone will come to know and appreciate the very fact.
AAAH too many emotions...I AM NOT OKAY!

The book was amazing , colourful and the illustrations were lit af and the dialogues on point.
Baby Bella was cute as heck.

All in all this is one wonderful comic.

Super, alleen vond ik hem iets minder leuk. Volgens mij had ik het probleem ook in de andere delen, ik vond die meiden maar wat gemeen doen tegen de vader. Ik snap het, hij is wel een beetje een sulletje, maar wel eentje die alles voor jullie doet. Zorgt dat jullie eten hebben, een schone luier, schone kleding, dat alles netjes is en goed is. Want jullie moeders zijn gevlucht en weggerend. Jullie mogen dus best wel een beetje meer appreciatie tonen. Gelukkig zie je dat wel, uiteindelijk, maar ja, nog steeds jammer.
Ik heb toch wel een aantal strips gehad die erg leuk waren, en kom op de art is gewoon geweldig. Ik hou gewoon van de stijl.

Sooo cute! I'm very interested in who the others of the other children are. We have so far only seen the oldest daughter's mom. I really enjoy how their personalities resemble on another. It makes the story so interesting. Also, I'm somewhat wondering how much alimony Dad is getting from his MAYOR ex-wife. He seems to be able to take care of 4 girls with no job at all. Very funny and entertaining.

I had hoped that we will get to see more about the Moms of the girls, but, for now, there are only small pieces of details relating the history of the father with them.

Still, I like the drawing style and the vivid colors, the stories are entertaining, but I was really expecting a lot more of infos.

Toujours aussi sympathique, drôle et touchant avec vraiment des moments de tendresse. Dad est drôle mais il a aussi beaucoup de coeur et d'amour pour ses filles et ces dernières, même si elles sont parfois un peu cyniques et critiques, ont aussi beaucoup d'amour pour leur père. Je continue dans ma lancée.

Ik ben fan van deze strip...en mijn dochters ook. Bij enkele grappen moet ik hardop lachen, het blijft dus niet bij een constante glimlach op mijn tronie tijdens het lezen en herlezen van deze vertederende kijk op een uniek éénoudergezin.

P.S. : Dat er maar gauw ook werk gemaakt wordt van een vertaling van "Les Souvenirs de Mamette", dat ander pareltje van Nob.
