Poignant and humorous, this satirical tale focuses on Good - the most powerful town in Stone County. Seeking revenge after an act of arson takes twelve innocent lives, residents demand action. All the evidence points to Abu Omar's town of Revil as the culprit. Town officials vote to invade superstone-rich Revil and rid Omar of his "murdertorcher" weaponry. The shady official story surrounding the deadly fire leads some citizens to question what REALLY happened...who was behind it...and could it really be about acquiring superstone and achieving political dominance.
"The war was supposed to be over, but the bodies kept piling up. Another section had to be added to the Wall Of Slain Heroes due to the abundance of soldiers coming back to enjoy an honorable eternity under a concrete structure."
"An evocative, tongue-in-cheek encapsulation of human conflict." ---John True
This is the worst book I have ever read. In what is supposedly a satire, I found nothing more than the rambling fairytale of someone who has lost touch with reality. If you would like to see a prime example non critical thinking, 5th grade writing skills, paranoid ranting and juvenile name calling, then read this book. Otherwise you would do well to avoid it at all costs.
