While I love any book that rhymes, this one just doesn’t have a great rhythm. Of course my baby loved it! I also give a point for being educational.

HATE.

And of course Dorrie likes it and finds it when I hide it. This book has the worst meter and rhyme of any children's book I have ever read. I am constantly stumbling over the too many/too few syllables.

Also, someone please get thee to a copy editor! http://www.flickr.com/photos/lakeline...

Aigner-Clark (2008) talks about different ways things can get from one place to another. Some things move by engines, some move by their feet and some by tires that go around and around. I can use this in my classroom to teach them that everything doesn’t move like we do with our feet or by crawling.

Who wrote this, Sarah Palin? Good lord, I've never encountered a children's book that's so riddled with execrable grammar.
