Elizabeth George has a way of writing that is somewhere between having online conversations with my overly optimistic grandmother in Florida, and listening to the words of a wise woman who has experienced a lot of tragedy in life.

Little to say, I thought that her chapters were wonderfully written as she took the reader through Psalm 23, and through the different 'Jehovahs' (such as Jehovah-rohi and Jehovah-Jireh). I would highly suggest reading this book as it helped me to feel a bit more confident in trusting God and knowing I can fall back on him in times of need.

Very interesting breakdown of Psalm 23. The author broke down Gods promises for us through this scripture in a very detailed way. This book will be a wonderful resource to go back to whenever you feel lost in your walk as it reminds you of Gods promises to you.

Such an interesting book that every woman should read. What a blessing to know that the Lord is my shepherd. The Twenty-third Psalm is the most conforting words in the Bible. To read and understand King David's great love for God as his Shepherd is to bask in the knowledge that every provision for our lives is already planned. His protection, His guidance, His friendship, His love and the knowledge of a dwelling place in God's eternal home is all contained in 117 words. A beautiful explanation of a good Shepherd and his plan for the happiness and welfare of his sheep, the people ater His own heart.
