His name is Kadal, and he's an assassin on the loose in New York City. Hired by a Shiite splinter group to sabotage the signing of a treaty that could end the bloodshed in Lebanon, Kadal's mission is to kill any of the delegates.
The FBI discovers the plot and puts a twenty-four-hour watch on the hit man. Then the head of their female informant shows up in a box, and Kadal vanishes.
The President orders Able Team to stop this killer, whatever it takes!
This one is below par, it's a weaker volume with less action then normal. They are basically after one man, a Muslim hit man who is trying to stop a peace summit. He is planning on taking out the major participants to do so and Able Team has orders to hunt and destroy. The story is ok but not for an Able Team storyline. Just isn't enough people to fight, becomes more of a hunting story and not a good one. Of course they try to add fire fights by having some fanatics trying to protect the assassin but just seems thrown in. To be honest the last big battle seemed ridiculous even for this genre.
Can't recommend, really is a weak story line for this series. And it seems odd how weapons that certain members used in every volume are no longer in play. Rogers is a veteran of the Bolanverse books and this is not his first Able Team. Though I do admit the other two I've read of his in this series are weaker volumes.
This was the first of the "Bigger and Better" Able Team books. Instead of under 200 pages, it goes over 200 pages for a more "satisfying mission." In realty, it takes a while to get started. We hear about The leader of Able Team's week long of training with the L.A. Rams. Then a little more time wasting before things finally kick in. Once is does shift in to gear, this is a good book.
In New York, the President of the U.S.A. Israel and Muslim leaders are going to sign a peace agrement to stop the fighting. An extremist Islamic group hire a Lebanese assassin. One of the best to kill all the delegates. Able Team is called in to stop them at all costs.
