Carole Mallory (born 1942) is an American author, actress and former model who appeared in the films Looking for Mr. Goodbar and The Stepford Wives (1975 film). She was a mistress of writer Norman Mailer and kept notes and writings of this time, selling them to Harvard University in 2008 after the writer's death.

What a horrible book.....this woman is so self-absorbed....can't believe she found a publisher. Her writing is pretension and at the same time reminiscent of a grade schooler. I thought there might be something interesting about Norman Mailer....but who care about his depraved sex life. Definitely a 'skip it'.

This book was interesting - toward the end, Mallory just becomes bitter and complaining which gets old fast!
