حاشیه نویسی و بیان نظر، دو نکته مهم در ترجمه آثار هستن که کمتر به اونا توجه میشه. در حاشیه نویسی (که توسط خود مترجم انجام میشه) مترجم نکات و یادداشت هایی رو به صورت غیر رسمی به ترجمه اضافه میکنه، یادداشت هایی که گاهی برای خودش هستن و گاهی هم برای مترجم های دیگر و نمونه خوان ها! اما در بیان نظر، این مترجم های دیگر هستن که نظر و نگرش خودشون در مورد ترجمه رو بیان میکنن.
نویسنده در این کتاب بصورت مفصل در این دو مورد توضیح داده و مثال هایی رو هم آورده.

در کنار این کطالب نویسنده زیر مراحل ترجمه، رویکرد های ترجمه و انواع ترجمه رو هم به صورت کامل و همراه با ذکر مثال بیان کرده.
