This is a pretty good book about a Jewish family in Poland who survived WW II by falsifying their identification papers. I thought the dad was what people think of as the typical Jew: making money in the direst of circumstances in the most unbelievable ways. I didn't enjoy the Epilogue so much, in which the author detailed what happened to him after the war.

A great book for our book club to discuss. We were able to host the author and his wife as they live in our town. Made the book that more compelling and real. Highly recommend.
