This is poetry, but also the strongest 60's throwback I've ever read. This could have been performed at Woodstock and no one would have thought it was out of place. The language is beyond metaphorical; it's like something out of another world. I was just kind of thrown by the whole thing. Of course, I wasn't around for the 60s, so I guess that's to be expected. Good for the right audience, though the reader would have to be prepared because this will wear you out.

I thought the blend of photography with the poetry was quite lovely. It also brought back many happy memories in nature.
