From the arid desert to the population centers of Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona is rich in tales of the paranormal, with ghost stories of the early native tribes, cowboys, and gold miners and frequent sightings of UFOs, Bigfoot, and Chupacabra. Bone-chilling tales in this volume include the spirits of Tombstone, the ghost train of Curly Bill, the mysterious appearances of the Blue Lady, and the phantoms that crossed the Atlantic to haunt London Bridge.
Haunted Arizona: Ghosts and Strange Phenomena of the Grand Canyon State dives into the lesser-known, spine-chilling corners of Arizona with stories that have been overshadowed by time. This collection of eerie tales, including the unforgettable story of a cat and a UFO, brings Arizona’s haunted landscape to life. As an Arizona native familiar with many sites, I was surprised to discover new, ghostly legends hidden throughout the state. This book is a captivating mix of history and horror, perfect for readers who seek to explore Arizona’s haunted past. The vivid storytelling makes you feel like a fellow ghost hunter uncovering lost secrets.
very silly, a lot of the stories are pure hear say with “anonymous storytellers” and pure rumor and conjecture. the writings a little cheesy but it had some history that was true which was interesting.
