Mike Knudson

Mike is six feet, four inches tall and weighs 200 pounds on a good day (a very good day). He and his lovely wife, Annette, have five kids and a turtle named Franklin, who ran away from home this summer. He is still trying to find him.

Mike enjoys the mountains and also loves to vacation at the beach. His favorite thing to do on vacation is to boogie board in the waves and often stays out in the ocean too long and gets a sunburn on the top of his head where he's starting to go bald.

His favorite foods are burritos and oatmeal (not together). Sometimes he cuts his own hair. He can ride a unicycle, annoy people with his banjo playing, and speak Spanish. When he was eight years old he burned down his neighbor's fence (never, never, never play with matches) (NEVER!)

NEVER!

I finished reading Raymond and Graham Bases Loaded by Mike Knudson the main idea is Raymond and Graham are wanting to win the baseball game their biggest rival the pirates will they succeed or not if you read the book you'll find out. So my most favorite and most funniest part is when Raymond spills his yellow Gatorade on his white pants so it looked like he peed in his pants so when it was his turn to bat everyone burst out laughing at the yellow spot even the crowd was laughing this was hilarious. The reason I like this book is the humor its pack with it like the Gatorade scene and another reason is the conversation that they have it sounds so normal. Another scene I like is when David (school bully goes for the candy that comes out(2 pieces)then he got hit with the stick because it was still the students turn and she had a bandanna covering her eyes so she couldn't see. This gets worse they continue to lose they lost to the worst team the tigers and there's another bad part Raymond's mom is substituting and one bad part is Raymond's mom kissed him in the hallway and somebody saw him and laughed well that's all I can say.

I loved this book. It is super funny and entertaining. I would recommend it to people that would want to have fun while reading.
*SPOILERS*
So, what happens is that it is baseball season for them and they really want to win the championship. They get to the championship and it's a really close game and then David who is super mean and a big dude is up to hit then he hits a homerun and so now it is tied. So Their team is up to bat and they all hit and get a run to the game. In the middle of all this Raymond's mom is the sub for one week and they all hate it for the beginning of the week, but on the last day on friday she threw a party.

The book is about 2 boys in a baseball game and they are trying to impress the girls that they like. I like this book because it has baseball, I like baseball and maybe next year I'm gonna play baseball. Very game they played they lost and when the last game until the majors came they won the game for the team and they went to the finals to win again. Read the book to know about the book more.

This book is one of my favorite books. Because it has a lot of sport playing and embarrassment parts. Ok this book is about a boy named Raymond and his buddy Graham, They go to a school where their are lots of kids that some are mean and some are nice. They are on a baseball team. And that try to go the majors.

Two best friends Raymond and Graham are hoping their team the Giants will be the Little League champions. In between some wins and losses, the two endure a week of school with Raymond’s mom as their substitute teacher, for their class, try to win over the girls they each have a crush on, and battle a bully. The story culminates with the final game of the championship. Laugh out loud mishaps occur throughout this story. There are also some truths about life in the book that we all agree on, one is, no nine year old wants his/her mother to come into the dugout to give him/her a good luck kiss before the ballgame! A young patron recommended this series to me and I am really glad she did.

I'm finished and let me say it's still an awesome series of an adventure of Raymond and Graham. Raymond wnts to know if Heidi(the girl he admires) likes him. So Graham invites Heidi and kelly to the baseall game. Raymond freaks out because the pirates(david's team) jus pwned the giants(Ramon and graham's team). Since zach the pitcher broke his finger raymond was pitcher. He got some strikeouts an did pretty good. Now after a game winning games he has lost soe games and won some games so yeah. Now raymond's mom comes to be sub for his class but plays a trick on her with friends. They like switch ames and stuff.

Raymond and Graham are competing for the little league baseball championship in this hilarious installment of the series. My boys and I unknowlingly read this book first before reading the other Raymond and Graham books, but we were entertained enough to seek out the other books. Boys will love the baseball elements in this book, but they will also love the crazy antics of the best friends.

The boys really enjoyed this one, mostly for the baseball content. The main characters are in fifth grade so a bit of the content is about liking girls, but otherwise this book could be enjoyed by anyone younger.

First book we've read from this series. My boys (4 and 6) liked it. It's very simple and has very little plot. But is very relatable to young boys. We'll continue to read the series, but only in between more stimulating books.

Another cute entry in the series. This is perfect for early chapter readers--especially boys. Plenty of humor and silliness here.
