The story was missing something (or stole something) though the drawings were excellent.

This was a fun read. I really enjoyed the way this graphic novel was drawn. It reminded me of the old Masterpiece Mysteries cartoons. Additionally Holmes is drawn like Jeremy Brett, who is my favorite actor to portrait Sherlock Holmes. Not only that the black and white colour scheme add atmosphere to the story.

Finally the pacing of the story is great. It builds slowly and has a lot of fun with Holmes mythology. If you are a fan of Sherlock Holmes, this is a quick and enjoyable read.
