Explosive new thriller featuring Sam Packer from the bestselling author of Fire Hawk . Betrayed and compromised, Packer follows a faint trail of coincidences that began with his own father’s disgrace 27 years before. As Packer fights desperately to win Julie’s confidence, the unlikely pair follow the trail of murder and deceit from Scotland to Vienna and on to a lonely island in the there they will find not only the weapon but the identity of the sinister organisation known as The Lucifer Network .
Excellent. My first book by this author. Full of thrills and excitement. I must try to find out about his other books..
This is a story that you might read about in the Sunday tabloids. A real spy novel. But this has the realization that this is what goes on every day in the world of a spy.
A brilliant written and entertaining read from start to finish. Geoffrey Archer could not have had any idea when he first published this how frighteningly relevant it would be for a world gripped in the midst of a pandemic. Definitely worthy of 5 stars, brilliant plot, characters that you feel are real. Highly recommended.
Geoffrey Archer clearly does a considerable amount of research as his plots always have a very authentic feel to them. The Lucifer Network is no exception and holds the readers interest to the end, as usual leaving unanswered questions.
A very good and intriguing plot. I will probably not read any more Geoffrey Archer books as I dislike having to do a review on his excellent stories. J Eaton
