Max Axiom Super Scientist does a relatively good job explaining about all things magnetic in this graphic novel book for young readers. There was a section in the book that did get a bit confusing dealing with solar flares that I felt could have been left out or described better, but all in all a good resource for any library. I love the graphic novel format that will hopefully intrigue even the most reluctant reader.
This wonder 4D book is such a powerful educational tool for youngsters! With his unique abilities, Max Axiom allows the reader to explore the principle and laws of science in ways that are both very entertaining and very easy to follow. This Capstone book offers wonderful illustrations, additional facts not cover in the main story, and save sights for young readers to explore and learn more about the topic of magnetism.
I really liked this book. It tells you about magnets but goes a bit farther than the basics so I even learned a few things. I like that it's a kind of interesting story with a cool, almost superhero character that also teaches about science.
My son loves science but usually prefers science fiction to non-fiction. This is a great series that combines a graphic novel superhero with interesting science facts.
