Recommended by my Doctor. This is definitely interesting, and I like how easily vegan-ified the recipes are. I haven't made anything yet, ask me when I am not juggling a two year old and a five day old, but they look simple enough and tasty. They are really into marjoram, which is fun. I'd love to eat nothing that isn't batter-dipped and fried, but I have a wife who is an ND and a genetic predisposition towards heart attacks. So there you are. The recipes are whole grain and veggie based, and very mediterranean centered. I am really looking forward to trying the baked eggplant salad.
GAH! ANOTHER ONE! I would think that something titled the "rice diet cookbook" would have, well, a lot of rice recipes. NOT SO! WHY am I getting all these cookbooks lately that don'e have recipes reflecting the title of the book?!?
I'm giving it three stars because most of the recipes in there DID look good, despite their non-riceness.
