Had a slow ferry ride from Newfoundland to Labrador so what better time to learn more about the geology of Gros Morne? Plain language and lots of graphics made this very informative - I just wish there were more!

So happy go got this on my visit a couple years ago since after reading other geology books recently, I wanted to revisit Gros Morne's. I think I probably got more out of the explanations this time around having read even better books on the topic in general recently.

Just getting in the mood for my upcoming vacation with re-reading books of vacations past. I still love all this fascinating mantle on top geology and how it got there of Gros Morne!

A great little book describing some of the geological features of the west coast of Newfoundland and explaining how continental drift caused the various rock formations. Wish I had read it before we went to Newfoundland - what a beautiful place!
