Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki was a third-generation psychic who has worked with magic since childhood. She studied under W.E. Butler and with him was a founding member of the Servants of the Light School of Occult Science, of which she was Director of Studies.

I haven't listened to the entire course yet - or even read the work-book, but I wanted to let people know that the set I ordered from a private seller at Amazon, who was offering them at a massively reduced price, contains two cards with serious errors. The publisher has included a message on a piece of card apologising for the errors and informing the reader of the necessary corrections!

To be honest, at the price I paid, I'm not too bothered, but had I paid the price Amazon is asking I'd be fuming! How much would it cost to reprint those two cards in comparison with the retail price of the set? Unless, of course, these cheaper copies are the only ones with errors?

Other than that, I'm finding Dolores' voice irritatingly slow and the whole "Sit down and I'll make us a cup of coffee" thing rather patronising. I bought in the hope the CDs will feature some useful guided meditations but CD 1 is largely waffle (unless you know absolutely nothing about magic/k and/or Western Esotericism) and 'psychic powers' seems to be a popular theme. There was some information I found interesting or helpful, but it might have been condensed into a 5-10 minute CD rather than extended to well over an hour!

I dare say there's nothing in here that can't be found for free on the Internet.

What an excellent combination of audio, workbook & cards! The audio lessons are like having 1:1 training with Dolores who is a warm, clear and wonderful teacher. She is interesting, inspiring & speaks with authority & expertise.
