It's nice having the pronunciations, and some information about the culture surrounding these recipes included. The pronunciations are especially useful as I will be trying to work on speaking & reading Spanish soon.


I appreciate the directions to build a tortilla press, and can't wait to try to build one! I have not tried any of the recipes yet, but I have bookmarked ones I will be trying to try soon. 😊

Originally my Dad's cookbook. The first printing was done in 1969, and my copy is the 16th edition, printed in January 1975. It's an interesting cookbook, much used (it's got notes and is missing the back cover). I hope I'll use it as much as my Dad did.
