even if the plot of this book had been absolutely awful, i still would've given it five stars because there were sooo many doll dioramas and they all represented scenes that i was anxious to see when i read about them!

i loved all the drama in this book, but it was a little hard to read at times because of all the awkward conflicts. i felt terrible for skipper, and even though stacie was being spoiled, i could empathize with the comparison/attention-seeking behavior at that age. and by the end i found myself squealing, "this is so cuuuuute!"

p.s. i am so thrilled that i read all these books in order! this clearly took place after the events of "little sisters keep out" and "friendship not for sale."
