TMYNET is a dystopian science fiction speculation presented in the short story collection, How Long 'Til Black Future Month? by N. K. Jemisin.

This short story takes a while to grasp - quantum states of being support the narrative. After a quantum event isolated humans into pocket universes, how can a species which depends on community survive? And do the individuals want to?

Reminds me a little of “Through the Flash” in terms of premise, but structurally it is wildly different and this was published first.
