It was the first out there: ignore the narrative arc and look at the relationship dynamic between the only protagonists who matter. The future was written even then.

Of course they split up.

Of course they won't reform.

It's good in parts, great in parts, and there are chunks I'd change in a heartbeat.

Interesting as far as it goes. I think the big turn off is how quickly a person or person's head can become outsized and the person can see himself as indispensable and essential. This book is a great reminder of how small we each and every one actually is. It is too bad future rock stars cannot read a tell-all such as this one, it is a reality check.

I would give this 6 stars if I could. A handful of pages made me howl with laughter. Ps too funny that Oasis shared a bill with corny Canadian Content band Moist and the author remembered that the band was entirely average at best.

A fantastic insight into life on tour with a rock and roll band (it sounds like a crazy time). It's crazy the stuff as manager Ian Robertson had to deal with (mostly Liam being a child) but you can tell this is someone who loved his job. Great read.
