The best visual resource of ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs available anywhere.

It is a collection of etchings and drawing produced by Napoleon's best drafters. The drawings are very comprehensive, very detailed, and accurate. Recorded are some wall glyphs that no longer exist.

A masterful look at the work of the first to look at the ruins left by Ancient Egypt in an attempt to document them. The views of Egypt that first tantalized so many to come and see for themselves is beautiful, even in black and white.
