This is a more traditional "module" with a Spelljammer setting. It does involve travel between several different Crystal Spheres as the title suggests, and the overall plot is decent. However, in actual play I believe this module has some balance issues. It pits level 5-7 characters against a vampire mage nemesis; and in order to even out the odds provides a chance at some of the best items in the game - attribute boosting tomes, vorpal or holy avenger swords, etc. In general I question how it would play (additionally the characters are on a ship with 7 hull points that could easily be destroyed in combat and may not be capable of getting close to a sun as the plot requires). A good module, but not a great one.
