Nila northSun is criminally underread. Her poetry in this collection has achieved the hardest kind of timeliness — penned forty years ago, it reads like something that was written online today. And I mean that in a good way. It also shows how indebted so many internet writers are to poets of the '60s, '70s, and early-'80s.
