It is a funny little book...yellowed paper and broken spine. I find it when I most need it. I realize it is often put down, only to be found again - always in the basement on an odd shelf. A lot of questions, comments, and retorts have written down over the years. It calms me and helps me make sense of the world. It is OK. June 8 is one of my favorite!

I enjoy daily reflections and this book offered a short daily reading from a variety of sources centered on meditation, Buddhism and peaceful living. Each daily passage is short and generally takes less than 2 minutes to read but may take a bit longer to digest and process as although the passages are short they are deep!

One of my all-time favorite books on Buddhism. Read so many time with so many dog eared pages. I refer back to it again, and again, and again almost 20 years from when I first recieved this and the other two books in the tricycle series by Jean Smith, Radiant Mind, and Breath Sweeps Mind.

I borrowed this from a friend and read most of it. It contains great Buddist life quotes and was something great to read and reflect upon going to bed.

A welcome small-portions approach to things Buddhist.

I read it still. I have copied passages for Clara to read. It has a page for every day so it is a companion book. My favorite page is June 8th regarding suffering. Highly recommend it.
