Best of the Bunch

The third installment of the Strong Family series is the best thus far. There were no foregone conclusions which allowed me to be drawn in a little more to the storyline. And the opposites attract theme really seemed to work for this particular couple.

Buy it, read it and enjoy!!👍🏾🔥👍🏾🔥👍🏾🔥👍🏾🔥👍🏾🔥

4.75!!!!

Kaeden is a nerd, he’s got allergies, he uses an inhaler, wears glasses and is an accountant in a family full of sexy cowboys.

Jade is a sexy, outdoorsy, tour guide who has to fight the men off of her.

Opposites attract though and they literally can’t stay away from each other.

I enjoyed this book a whole lot. It was sexy, sensual, a pinch of drama, some comedic relief, and so romantic. Kaedens character development was my favorite, he had Jade (and me!) fucked up cuz he was insecure and Jade had to put his ass in line, but once they got it together, it was fireworks and honestly every-time they were on page together, it was fireworks!

I love the brotherhood and even though this was #4 in a series of like 8 books, you can read it as a standalone and you won’t be confused by all the other characters.

The ending was perfect. I’m going down a NB rabbit hole so come get me after this series 😂😂

I got this as a free read for kindle, and I was presently surprised! Not sure how the free read thing works with Kindle, I just assumed the books are fluff or littered with errors, but hey it was free, so I dived in. Well, this book held my attention from beginning to end. I liked how the heroine, Jade was built like a brickhouse, but was a tomboy at heart & Kaeden had some cute, wimpy tendencies (inhaler-weilding, allergic to outdoors & insect bites), but was all man. The chemistry between the characters was palpable (hot love scenes), and the conflicts were believable for a small town atmosphere. The supporting characters were supporting & didn't take over or distract from the main characters. I'd never heard of this author & will definitely check out her other books, so a big ups to Kindle for highlighting this author with a free read.

:X I was trying to be better about writing reviews "as soon as I finished" but life is >.< so anyway it's now 5/3/21 and 🤷🏻‍♀️

BUT ANYWAY. This book ... I'm wavering between 2 and 3 stars ...
It's ... it's hard to explain. I think I didn't like the book as much until the ending / it's ... I don't want to say MEH but ...

There are a LOT of stereotypes. Also the heroine is not attracted to the hero just because he wears glasses. I guess I felt that was really... bleh shallow? I mean you're attracted who you're attracted to - and what you're attracted to [or not] - but like... to just write someone off because he wears glasses?
Also because he wears glasses so she just thinks he's a weakling nerdling.
And then the book "disproves" it by having him beat the shit out of someone, basically. 🙄

And then him judging her for hooking up with him - like - my dude -YOU WERE THERE.
Yeah.... I've talked myself into 2 stars.
Especially since - I thought the ending was great - but I clearly didn't find the book compelling enough to try the other books in the series. (And... I'm pretty sure they were available on Hoopla too...)

And then her asshole ~ex - like friend, you were clearly dating this guy - like not INTIMATE with him yet but ... Although I guess they never had the "directly we're going to be exclusive" talk.
And then for HIS part - his stupid hurt feelings and him rebounding with his secretary ex. [Also omfg that ex is BANANAS. Like literally serial killer level unhinged, and yet it's basically treated as normal]
I KNEW the exes would get together but I'm mad it was written as so easy for them.

For Jade and Kaeden though ... Kaeden does make SO many assumptions about Jade just because of how she looks and that they got together so quickly. Asshat.

But what I DID REALLY truly like - was that they

When I tell you this book was an unexpected GEM, I mean that on everything. I was definitely not prepared.Kaeden always considered himself the black sheep of the family because he isn’t athletically built or outdoorsy like his brothers. He never thought he could attract a woman like Jade but fate intervened and they unexpectedly spent a heated night together during a camping trip. This book had me hooked from page one and I and couldn’t stop reading. Kaeden and Jade literally burned up the pages with their steamy and erotic love scenes.I was definitely rooting for them as a couple. Add in the Strong family dynamics, psycho Ex’s and a believable storyline and this book was a hit for me. What I enjoyed most about this story was a strong lead female character. Jade held her own and was secure in herself and the decisions she made.I loved how she wasn’t afraid to walk away from any situation that degraded or didn’t benefit her. This book is a must read and I will definitely be going back to read more about the other delicious Strong Men.

2.5 stars. The character development was decent but I found the characters extremely hard to relate to - very superficial and immature. The premise is that "opposites attract" but the criteria for being opposites seem to be "having allergies" and "liking the outdoors", for example. The writing was also mediocre, but the author did bring out the chemistry between the protagonists. Would not be interested in reading another book by this author.

Thoroughly Enjoyed

At one point thought the book was going to come to an end, but so glad I thought wrong because there was so much to bring to a close. I still would like more insight about Felicia and Darren; not a whole book, but some info!

Yes, Strong Family!

The series, "Strong Family" gets better! This one was as entertaining as the second book plus more. Very entertaining and I could not stop reading. The scenes were so descriptive, I could visualize catching fish or walking in the trees.

Give Me Fever is the third book in the Strong family series. Kaeden is very different from his other brothers because he can't really do the outdoors and he is more quiet than his other brothers. He has always found Jade very attractive but I don't think she really noticed him until they go away on a camping trip. Kaeden and Jade want the relationship to work but there are people in their lives that don't want that to happen. He is also has to prove that he is the right man for her. I thought this was a great read and I was rooting for Kaeden from the very beginning. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

I liked this installment of the Strong family for a few reasons (aside from the steamy scenes of course...lol):
1. The story (e.g. timelines and issues they had to work out) actually felt realistic (I know, shocking)
2. I could actually see myself falling for Kaeden's character (or a slight variation of it). The nerdy types are hot too!
3. Jade's character surprisingly had some depth and was easy to like
4. The Strong family seems to have genuine camaraderie and are very likeable

p.s. The cover sucks.

Another HOT & SPICY addition to the Hot Holtsville series and the Strong Family series...the whole opposite attracts scenario between Kaeden and Jade is quite FUNNY at times...but once they move pass their differences and Jade sees Kaeden in a whole new light...the passion between them is definitely INTENSE...I'm looking forward to reading the next book in this series about Kaleb Strong (a May/December romance).

WOW ..This book was truly amazing.
The different personalities of
Kaeden and Jade was very intriguing.
They proved that " Opposites really do attract. "
And the chemistry between them was .. HOT !!
to say the least.
I was lost in this book from beginning to end.
And Guess what? .. I've found myself a new
favourite author to add to my list.
Yuuup .. Ms. Niobia Bryant caught me.
This book is definitely a Must- read .. LOVED IT.

I enjoyed that this story had a hero that was not a super alpha male with swagger which we often see in romance book. But that does not mean that Kaeden was any less sexy than any of the alpha male heroes. Very nice story of characters that may seem to be opposites but in reality were just right for each other.

I think Kaeden's story is my fav of the Strong men so far. He is just as handsome, but so different from his brothers that you just have to love him. Jade's character was also a pleasant surprise, she was not what I expected from her brief description in the previous book, I can't wait for Kalebs story. It is certainly gonna be a trip to read about him getting involved with Jade's mom.

Although the first two were really good, this one is my favorite so far in this series. Opposites do attract. I love how nerdy Kaeden came out of his shell and went after his dream woman and got her. The chemistry between Jade and Kaeden was off the charts, this was definitely a hot and steamy ready.:-))

Nerds (Kaeden Strong, in this case) needs love & companionship too. Jade's sure she could not be attracted to such a man. Not an outdoors man. A Nerd. No matter how fine this allergy riddled, non outdoors man is. Up to a point this nerd rocks her world and in a very good way.

I had a clear connection here with Kaeden. Strong made a strong showing with this one.

Niobia Bryant does it again. This is one hot book! Loved the passion, chemistry and fervor between the lead characters. This author always comes through with a juicy novel. I have read about four of her books and I have never been disappointed. I am getting ready to read another book is this Strong Series. Bravo!

I really enjoyed this book! I like it because it showed a different side of relationships. Men have issues they have to work through just like women. Sometimes there are emotional issues they have to deal with in order to really be ready for a relationship. Ms Bryant really did a great job with this one!

I really enjoyed this. Gasp! Shock! Its....a Contemporary! I know, but again it is not a world I live in. So it transports me in a way. I loved how both characters had to grow to be able to find their way back to each other.

Funny, sexy, read. Loved the whole "opposites attract" dynamic. It could have used another round of editing, but that could be a Kindle thing. Even though I think it's kinda ewww, I am going to purchase the next story, featuring Jade's mother and...
