About the author

Udo Weigelt was born in 1960 in Hamburg, Germany. After secondary school he began his training in business but soon stopped to attend the College for Graphics and Design. In 1987 he finished his further education by studying German and history. Udo Weigelt has written many children’s books for North-South Books that have been translated into numerous languages. He also writes under the pseudonyms of E.T.W. Igel and Moritz Petz.

Not my favorite book but still a good one

The illustrations are pretty creepy and as part of a spooky family my kiddo loved it.

This is the perfect story for a child who is afraid of 'ghosts' in their room. The little girl takes control of her fear and faces the ghosts in her room. The girl teaches others who are reading this same story that they can face their fear as well. Wonderful story.

(picture book) A good story for Halloween time or to teach about facing your fears. Great to read aloud to the class as a whole, or to just add to a library for students to read on their own.
