JULIE LEVINE attains her class of 1952’s college scholarship despite the hurdles placed before her. While she works for a NASA subcontractor, she marries and has three children in between rocket launches. NASA selects her guidance system to go to the moon. At work, she meets Sam Brown. They fall in love, and as the Apollo 11 Mission approaches, she discovers she’s pregnant with his baby. Judith Love Cohen’s life is the inspiration behind Lunatics. She is one of the four women of Apollo. Her youngest child is Jack Black, the actor, and musician. Her oldest son continues her legacy in aerospace-defense and her daughter works at Disney. Judith’s third child was a musician and record producer. He passed away from HIV AIDS in the '80s. Judith and her husband David owned a children’s publishing company in Culver City. When Elyse Wilk interviewed Judith for an article, Judith asked her if she would be interested in writing more about her life's story. The exact words she used were, "You get me!" and Lunatics was launched.
