I’ve used this to navigate Tunisia on several occasions.
The authors say in one place that “only dogs and Englishmen” can survive the heat in one locale. And true enough, when I took my Tunisian in-laws to the place my wife (jokingly?) accused my of trying to kill them off.

This book is very helpful and interesting. It's fun to learn about the history of this place! The Modern Standard Arabic is way different from Tunisein dialect, but besides that it is really helpful.
