Kathryn Lance, the author or co-author (or ghostwriter) of more than 50 print books (fiction, nonfiction, for adults and children), has moved into the world of e-publishing. ja proste nicemu nemuzu dat min nez 5 hvezdicek 😭..

knizku sem nasel na chalupe, byla moji mamky, ktera mi rekla ze ji jako mala milovala. a tak proc si ji nevzit, ze?

je to kratky, strasidelny a uzasny pribeh. asi to detem v 20. stoleti prislo vic strasidelny nez detem ted, ve 21. stoleti, ale nebudu lhat, obcas sem se taky trosku bal.

vubec me nenapadlo ze to vsechno bude delat deidra! byl sem mega prekvapeny kdyz sem to zjistil. to, ze neco dela rob me napadlo, ale nijak sem to neresil a pak kdyz sem zjistil ze to vazne delal, tak sem byl uplne jako 😧 haha

konec se mi libil ale trosku me nastvalo to, ze tam zadny duch nebyl a vsechno to delali lidi.. i tak to ale bylo super!!

i kdyz marissa byla celkem svine, mel sem ji rad, mel sem rad i jennu a dalsi postavy taky ofc. ale moje fav postava je asi jenna :)

jedina vec ktera me stve je ta, ze sem to necetl kdyz byl halloween :(

mam doma jeste jeden dil Stop Hruzy, takze si ho asi prectu! mrzi me ze doma nemam vic dilu a mam jenom dva:( vazne me to bavilo a dostalo me to trosku z reading slumpu, za coz sem mega rad. myslim si ze ty knizky asi uz koupit nemuzu, coz me mega mrzi ale tak aspon ze mam doma nejaky 💝 :) DOPORUCUJU!

Quick, easy read. Kept me entertained, but it was very predictable. Picked it up out of a lending library in Nebraska, so it was just something to pass the time. 90’s horror books are nostalgic, and I do enjoy the general atmosphere in the book. I did think Deidre’s story arc was silly, and Jenna immediately trusted her again after all of the situations Deidre put Jenna through was wild to me. I had fun reading it though. Wasn’t expecting a masterpiece, but I did have a good time. It reads like a Scooby Doo episode. I was actually expecting “and I would have gotten away with it too if it weren’t for you meddling kids…”

Love that the appeal of the Shadow Club is that they’re basically spooky popular kids who do light charity work

I had gotten this book as a kid when my aunt worked for Weekly Reader. It’s pretty great for young readers who are just getting into, say, the Goosebumps series and follows a similar formula.

About average kiddie horror. So-so. And almost the last free read from the Info Mall trip for WIC. So many government programs to help families in need like mine. Go figure. =)
