Cincinnati Scenes

Rate this book
This book of sketches made in and around Cincinnati is a rather random selection chosen from the many which have appeared over a period of years in the Cincinnati Enquirer. Most of the subjects are as sketched at the moment and will remain for quite a while. Some will be gone before too long. A few, which have already been swept from the scene as the newer day takes over, have been included as a bit of nostalgic memory.

Neat little book I picked up at the library. It was interesting to learn some of the history that goes along with the sketches. Now I kind of want to drive around and compare some of the sketches to what’s there now in the current day. Of course, some of the subjects of the sketches are still recognizable even 50+ years later, but others are more obscure or possibly even gone.
