Georgia Steele is back in Titanium Web, a fast-paced techno-thriller. Perfect for fans of Blake Crouch, AG Riddle, or Matthew Mather.

Technology will drive the next leap in human evolution…if it doesn’t kill you first.

Brilliant Georgia Steele is one in a billion, the product of a secret society’s 150-year experiment to create the perfect human. Since learning of her origin and the Guardians’ sinister plans for the rest of humanity, Georgia’s been obsessed with exposing and taking them down.

Drew Conner has waited years to take his rightful place. He just needs to prove his technology – one that marries humans and computers to produce something entirely new – before the Guardians will help him become one of the most powerful men on the planet.

Though no human has yet to survive the process, the Guardians have picked their test subject for Conner’s technology: the troublesome black sheep of the family, Georgia Steele.

But Georgia has no plans to go down quietly. She must untangle the secret of the technology implanted inside her before it takes her mind…and her life.

I greatly enjoyed this fast-paced, gripping sequel to Georgia Steele's story. Georgia travels to Western North Carolina, San Fransisco, and Panama along with her native Atlanta trying to unravel the Guardians and her ties with them. The twist in this one will leave you breathless as Georgia is once again thrust into a life-threatening battle for survival.

I'm not a super up to date on technological advancements, especially for human development, but Whitaker's direct descriptions made it easy for me to understand exactly what was going on with no confusion. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat the whole time, and now I'm impatiently awaiting book 3!

*I was provided an ARC from the author in exchange for my honest review. This did not influence my rating*

The Georgia Steele thrillers are page turners that make you think about where we may be heading with the advances in technology and the push by some of the powerful and elitist for transhumanism. How far is too far - when do we cross the line between helping humanity to losing what it means to be human. The stories are fast past, the characters make you want to either cheer them on or scream at them or both, and the technology feels very believable and current. Great new author, you will love this book!

Thank you to author L. M. Whitaker for the FREE Kindle copy of Titanium Web.

This book was well written and an entertaining read. Nicely done cover design. Just a handful or so of editing issues. Good character set and story pacing, jumping to various locales to keep the reader engaged. Interesting use of technologies used in the story line to show or explore the continuing human quest to control everything and everyone.

This story checks three boxes with me. One, it's been well written and properly edited and, two and three, it's about things, particularly the human genome and brain assistance. Seeing as we don't leave the baby out overnight anymore, there has to be some way to improve the race. I'm most certainly going to buy the next book in this series. Just because it's the military who want something doesn't mean it's a bad thing.

I would like to thank the author and BookSirens for giving me the opportunity to read and review this ARC.

I found the book to be a well written, very easy to digest and well paced techno thriller, exploring the impact of human enhancement technology. The pacing will keep you engaged and wanting to keep moving forward with the story. Overall, I found it a very interesting story and recommend it to anyone in a sci-fi style fast paced techno thriller.

Great techno-thriller

This is the second book in the series and the second book I’ve read. You don’t have to have read the first book, but if you do, it does add perspective. Georgie, Marcus and Dave are back as well as the Guardians. The book seemed to start a little slow but it has a fast-paced ending that was hard to put down. I like this series. Give it a try if you like technological thrillers.

This was a fast and fun read!

I appreciate how Ms Whitaker could simplify technical concepts without condescendingly dumbing them down and, in addition, support the reader through discovery of the possible implications of the new technologies covered in the book.

Titanium Web is #2 of a series, but it is 100% readable as a stand alone book. I will be looking out for #1 the next time I buy books!

Gripping thriller with edge of your seat suspense! I loved it!!
My first read by this author and although this is the sequel to The Crucible of Steele, I had no issues jumping right into this story. Loaded with action, intriguing plot twists, a secret & evil organization that believes they are saving the world and a storyline that keeps you guessing.
Overall, this is a fantastic read!!

I loved this book. It was a real page turner. Though I am not a fan of science fiction, I am when it falls within the realm of possibility and this story eerily does! The characters are multidimensional and, by the end of the book, I felt i knew them. Liked some, not so much others. I would love to know Georgia and be a part of (some of) her adventures!

L.M Whitaker's Titanium Web more than fulfills the promise of the first Georgia Steel novel. It combines cutting-edge science with edge-of-the-seat thrills that will keep you turning pages late into the night.

When I was offered an ARC I had nothing but high hopes - and I’m here to say this page turning science thriller did not disappoint! We were given some answers and experienced a deep dive into the existing characters and plot. This was a wonderful sequel to The Crucible of Steel.

Super exciting book with very current techno adventures. The first book - Crucible of Steele - was great and this one even tops it. So well written. Could not stop once I started the book. Annoy wait for Whitaker’s next one. Both books are a must read!

It didn’t take long for this story to grab me and keep me reading until the end! What a page turner! I couldn’t understand all the math or computer technology references, but my lack of knowledge did not diminish my enjoyment of this book!
