It is one of the very first books I read when I was young. My mom bought this book and I happened to peak onto its' pages whenever she was spending her time with it. After that, I found myself silently rummaging through it almost everyday. Through this book, I started to take an interest in learning about life and the beauty of it. One of the most profound story I still remember even until now is the burnt cat. Oh, and because of this book, I also realized that my late mother is truly a kind person; someone I aspire to be when I grow up. I would recommend everyone to at least read this book once in their lifetimes. It is, indeed, a perfect 'chicken soup' for your 'dark and cold days'.
