Trying to be less angry about stuff. Cursed with Blevins hot-headedness, but am trying to move away from the kind of thinking that is "I have no choice" to more of "I can choose to be angry or not." Some of this hit home with me, some of it did not. I'm going to keep the stuff that did, which is kind of par for the course for these sorts of books I think...haven't read any before though.

I think the title of this book may be off putting. I would recommended this book to anyone who wants to improve any relationship. The tools are easy to follow and can be used in all communication. So, I'm going to rename this book: The Proven Method for Developing Healthy, Long-Lasting Relationships. And Calm.

Decent book but it did not solve my problems. I recommend Non Violent Communication instead.

Listening to the audiobook version is a very powerful experience. It really feels like you are in a seminar with John.

A lot of buildup for a mediocre payoff. I learned a lot but also feel like there could have been more and I was left unsatisfied.

An interesting 'self help' book to understand and treat anger. A bit dry at times, but it is a psychology book, not a novel.
