Various is the correct author for any book with multiple unknown authors, and is acceptable for books with multiple known authors, especially if not all are known or the list is very long (over 50).
If an editor is known, however, Various is not necessary. List the name of the editor as the primary author (with role "editor"). Contributing authors' names follow it.

DNF @ 25% - Not rating because the collection itself is great and true to what it says it is. I thought I could do it. I really did.
I've set this down before and each time I try again I struggle through every single fairy tale. Turns out the original versions of the stories weren't for me in the way I thought they would be. I am so thankful to them being written because I do enjoy all the different retellings, but I just can't continue. I hated every second I gave to this. It is what it is, you can't win em all.
This is not the sort of book you can power through—you have to treat it as it’s own library. Each time I finished a fairytale, I would pretend that is was its own book, so I wouldn’t get overwhelmed.
But the fairytales were great, ranging from wonderful to horrendous, as all fairytales do lol. I tried to mark all my favorites. 💕
This is a wonderful collection of well-known childhood fairytales. You have a lot of very familiar ones and others I've never heard of which I always love. Snow-White, Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood. It's a great collection to have.
