Another teeny bopper horror read in a great series.
This one didn't capture me as much as the previous, but Im really loving the intro and ending with the girls whose souls are held prisoner in the old school with the evil headmistresses. They are the ones who are telling each story. I am interested to see what happens to them. Will they move on or stay stuck with this old hag who throws them into the, "RED ROOM". The reader does not know what the Red Room is yet, but its a horrid place. I look forward to the rest.

Devon is in a band called Torn. They just had an awesome debut at a local club. His friend, and lead singer, wants him to kick out Karston from the band cause he sucks (well, he does). Later that night, Devon is still awake in bed fretting about having to do that and he starts to write a new song. He plays it for the band and they know it's a killer song (dun, dun, dun) and going to be a hit.

This was a great fast paced story. You get a feel of the characters (except One-Word Ben. I think he was named that so there was an excuse for him to be there and not have to really build his character), and there was no long drag out to the horror. BAM! It just got messy.

I love the opening and ending to the book. It is a story told by ghost girls as a game. I think as you move along in the series, their story will start to play out.
