Ehhh… I don’t know how I feel about this… The pacing is off to me.. And there’s so many characters to follow. But I do like the storyline? I like the mystery of it. So I won’t give up just yet!

It's been a while since I've read mangas but I've been on the lookout for a cute new series to get into. And once I saw this at the library, I couldn't help but pick it up.

This story is about reincarnation. It kind of reminded me of The Eternal Ones series, where some of the people who are reincarnated remember their past lives. There's kind of a "insta-love" bussiness going on, as well "we're-destined-to-be-together" which I don't genereally like in YA books, but I let it go in mangas. But yeah, it was a very cute and fun manga with some really unique characters. The butterfly-shaped birthmarks looks so cool!

Konako was a really likeable character. She wasn't one of those typical, goofy girls who care too much about what the popular girls think of her, nor did she act "too nice". I loved her relationship with her sister because it reminds me of my relationship with my sister. We're pretty close, just like Konako and Mayu (though we aren't as lovey dovey and kind of pretend we don't like each other sometimes =P).

TSUBAME WAS SO CUTE, GUYS! I just fangirled over him. He was passionate, yet totally adorable. I was shocked when I found out he liked to do nail art because I DO AS WELL. We're probably soulmates.

Mike was kind of cold and distant, but I sense that there's some kind of secret behind him. Also, his outfits were pretty...flashy. Most of his shirts stayed open. But I kind of died when I found out that HE AND TSUBAME USED TO GO OUT. This is too much for my perverted mind to handle. Also...MIKE OWNS TWO PET BUNNIES. Ohmagerd.

Glad I picked up the rest of the series as well, because I'm going to be reading the crap out of all of them. Tsubame, here I come! XD

It was interesting, funny and original. I didn't instantly fall in love with the story or characters, but they kept me going and drove me to the end of the series. Kanoko is a particularly incredible protagonist though. the way she carries herself contributes to the atmosphere of the story. The art is very beautiful though. I'm new to this manga artist too.

I love stories about past lives and this is one of them. All in all an enjoyable romantic shojo series.
