I saw this book when I was in Ireland and thought it looked like a really great Irish history lesson. I didn't pick it up before I left Dublin, but if I can't find it here I'll have to get it when I get back State-side.

Wonderfully insightful to the frustrations of Irish politics errupting into violence or stagnation beyond help; certainly a dry read but informative.

Im am looking forward to reading Teach Yourself's history of the middle east after 1945. I trust this series to relay the overarching political moves contained in civil unrest.
