I found this book in the mid '70s in a used bookstore. I don't remember much about the book, though I do know it somehow left an urge in me to write. I plan to read it again soon. Just the fact that I still have and remember this book is the reason for giving the 5 stars.

Read this in jail... cant say it's good or bad, just wildly different. Remember it mostly because of where I was, not what's in it.

I picked up this book off a shelf because the title intrigued me - Burnt Toast. I read it and loved it. As the decades passed, I lost my copy. I want to re-read it so that I can remember what it was about the book that has stayed with me for forty years.
