Leuk, een boek vol lijstjes, dachten we.
Hier en daar pikken we er ongetwijfeld een leestip uit of zelfs een voos weetje waar we ooit eens mee kunnen uitpakken.
Helaas zijn niet alle opgenomen lijstjes even relevant en tijdloos voelt het boekje helemaal niet aan.

This book was written in 1982 so it was very out of date. But, I did learn a lot about the early sf writers and their books. And some of the lists were a lot of fun!

The illustrated part didn't amount to much...just lots of pictures of old magazines; but the text was a boatload of fun or two (even if the guy was English and a bit of a goober). Especially lists like the memorable lines from films--and lines that editor hoped he'd never see again; plus writers telling the origins of some popular stories.
