Rate this book
In the second book of his Quantum Entity Trilogy, Bruce M Firestone takes his reader on a wild ride careening from the depths of despair in San Quentin State Prison to murder in Arizona’s mystical town of Third Mesa and total war between superpowers in the late 21st Century. He follows the fates of three somehow interconnected families—the Brooks, the Bells and Nell’s people—the Hopi of Third Mesa.

Their adventures take them to Austin, Carthage, Ghudamis, Shenyang, San Fran, Vancouver, New Zealand, Los Angeles, Oregon, Luna and Mars Colonies, Europa, Dallas and Port Isabel. The science and technology are fantastic, the reveals and plot twists will surprise and delight as well as frighten. The future is only too believable. Yet there is love and great sacrifice amongst the chaos…

“American Spring, Firestone’s second book in his Quantum Entity Trilogy, is every bit as gripping as his first. He has woven together an incredible set of characters and events that keep you turning the pages way too late into the night. There is absolutely nothing predictable in this thought inspiring story as we follow these characters and their families half way around the solar system. I should point out that I am not what you might call a fantasy or sci-fi reader but Firestone has drawn me into his rich and exciting QE world leaving me impatiently waiting for Book 3!” - Andrew Penny, Management Consultant, KingsfordConsulting.com
