Read this for inclusion in sons' reading lists next year. Although the book could profit from some editing and proofing, the boys will be reading it. It has many sweet experiences and some good advice for those preparing for missions. There are a few pieces of advice that seem a wee bit "surface only"--i.e. "Call people by name. Calling people by name impresses them. It is good to impress the people. If you impress them during your whole mission, your work will take on . . . a new success." I think he intends well, though. There are also a few sort of off-the-wall pieces of advice, which knowing the author's sense of humor, is not unusual. But how about this . . ."Your car is like your horse. Talk to your car. Give it a name. It is a missionary. Treat it with great love." ROFL
All in all, a good, sweet, short read, lots of personal examples, funny, and some good focus on attitude.

This is great advice for how to work with people. A good read for anyone, but definitely written for male missionaries.
